Site and Page Access

If you need to give the customer manual access to a site or page, follow the steps below:

Give Manual Access to a Site to a Single Contact (not through a Purchased Product)

  1. Go to the customer’s contact record

  2. Scroll down to the Sites they have access to box and click the Give manual access to a site link:


  3. Select the Site you want to give the customer access to:


  4. If you want to give the customer manual access to an additional Dripped Course, Page or Group, locate the site they now have access to and press Manage access:


  5. Select any Dripped Courses, Pages or Groups you want to give the customer access to:



    NOTE! Giving access to a site from the contact record does not send an automatic email unless the site is closed (in which case we will send them the system-generated login email).


Remove/Revoke Manual Access to a Site to a Single Contact (Who Received Access Manually)

This will remove the contact’s access to the site that was granted manually. If they also purchased a product that gives access, they will continue to have access to the Site through that product (and still receive

NOTE! If they also purchased a product that gives access, they will continue to have access to the Site through that product.

  1. Go to the customer’s contact record

  2. Scroll down to the Sites they have access to box

  3. Press the trash can icon:


Remove/Revoke Access to a Site to a Single Contact (Who Received Access From a Product)

This will remove the contact from the Site, while they remain listed as a customer of the product that originally granted them access to the Site.

NOTE! They will still receive broadcasts sent to that product's customers.

  1. Select Content from your Simplero Dashboard

  2. Select Sites from the dropdown menu

  3. Choose the Site

  4. Select Members tab

  5. Click on the contact's name to open their Site Activity page

  6. Select the three dots at the upper right hand corner of the page and select Delete member from the dropdown:

   6. Click OK to confirm:

Remove/Revoke Access to a Site to a Single Contact (By Cancelling Their Product Purchase)

  1. Select Contacts from your Simplero Dashboard

  2. Select All Contacts from the dropdown menu

  3. Locate and click on the contact name

  4. You'll be directed to the contact overview page

  5. In the Purchases section, locate and click on the product where they have access to the site

  6. You'll be directed to the Purchase page. Click the Cancel button in the Purchase summary section and click OK to confirm cancellation of purchase:



     


Give Access via a Trigger or Automation

Add a Trigger to a product where you want to create a new step in your automation

  1. Select Sales from your Simplero Dashboard

  2. Select Products from the drop down menu

  3. Select the product you wish to give a trigger to access

  4. Select the Participants tab

  5. At the top of the list once participants have been selected, click the Select action... drop-down menu and select the option to "Give access to a page or a site"




Remove Access via a Trigger/Automation

You can also set up a trigger or add a step in an automation that removes access to a site or page, should you want to do that. 

  1. Follow steps 1-4 above

  2. At the top of the list once participants have been selected, click the Select action...drop-down menu and select the option to "Revoke access to a page or a site"


Remove Access to a Site for an Entire Product or List

NOTE! Doing this means that all existing and future purchasers of the product will not have access to the Site. 

  1. Select Sales from your Simplero Dashboard and choose Products from the dropdown menu

  2. OR select Contacts from your Simplero Dashboard and choose Lists from the dropdown menu

  3. Select the product/list name you want to remove access to

  4. Select the Content tab

  5. In the Courses and Sites section, uncheck the box next to the Site name:


  6. Scroll down and click the Save changes button

 

Login credentials email

As soon as your contact receives access to a site, we will (by default) send them an automatic email with information on how to access their content.

If you would like to send their login details in a custom email that you create (such as an Auto-Responder or Automation Email), scroll down to Content settings and check the following box:

Let participants of a product set up their Simplero ID and Password
