Where Do I Set My Terms?
You need terms so your customers know what they’re getting into, and to be compliant with the rules of your payment processors. In Simplero, your Account Terms are linked to all of the order forms for your products, like this:

You can also override this link for specific products so they have their own custom term page just for that product. I’ll show you how to do both below:
How do I Update My Account Terms?
Select the Settings gear icon from your Simplero Dashboard
Select Account Settings from the dropdown
Scroll down to the Terms section:

-
You’ll see two options:
Option 1: You can provide the URL to a custom page you created for your terms - this could be a Website or Landing Page. Just enter the URL for the page and we'll take care of the rest.
Option 2: You can enter your terms directly in the box. This will put your terms on a system generated default terms page that lives on your website. This page will use the URL yourdomain.com/terms
NOTE! You’ll want to choose one option (not both).
Scroll to the bottom and click the blue Save changes button
Warning: You can't use the URL 'terms' for any of your pages, since it’s already used by Simplero as the default terms page (mentioned above). If you do set it up, an infinite loop with 'Too many redirects' gets created. But you can still use, for example, /terms-and-conditions instead :)
How do I Override the Terms for a Specific Product?
Let’s say you want a particular product to display it’s own custom Terms page just for that product. Say no more!
Select Sales from your Simplero Dashboard
Select Product from the dropdown
Choose the product you want to add a custom terms page to
Press the Order Form tab
Scroll down to Options and toggle ON Use a custom link for the terms to accept:

Paste the link into the Terms URL section or click on Type or select a link to find it in Simplero
Don’t forget to Save Changes at the bottom 😉
How do I Update My Privacy Policy?
-
Create your Privacy Policy page as a Website or Landing Page
Select the Settings gear icon from your Simplero Dashboard
Select Account Settings from the dropdown
Scroll down to the Privacy >> Privacy Policy URL section:

Paste the link to the page you created with your Privacy Policy. If you leave this spot blank, we’ll use https://simplero.com/privacy-policy.
