Navigate to any of your video or audio assets inside of your media library to find the Bookmarks section. They will be located below the video or audio.
You can add a new one by selecting the time within the video as well as the description. Then press add:
Edit the timestamp, and the content of the bookmark using the “Edit” icon that shows on hovering.
You are also able to delete the existing ones.
If you are on the Skyrocket plan, and using Transcripts, you’ll be able to generate Bookmarks automatically! Once you’ve generated the transcript, you have the option to generate bookmarks from the transcript summary:
Once Your Bookmarks have been created, the menu for the bookmarks will update with new options:
Merging the transcript summary with the bookmarks. This would then add any manually created bookmarks within the transcript for the video.
Replace bookmarks with transcript summary. This will result in any manually created bookmarks being erased and replaced with those auto-generated through the transcript.
Once you’ve created those bookmarks, they will show up on the lesson that media is added to on the right side:
In the new experience, if you have embedded videos in the additional content, then you’re able to select the option to see the bookmarks for that video as well. Once you click the bookmarks option for that video:
Then the bookmarks on the right side of the lesson will update to show you the bookmarks of that video instead. You have the option to revert back to the bookmarks of the original/main content when playing that video.
Clicking on the timestamp will take you to that point on the recording and allow them to start playing it at that point. Your contacts are also able to create bookmarks for themselves by clicking on the transcript and selecting the bookmark icon:
These bookmarks are only visible to them and are not added to the video bookmarks themselves.
