Site Forum

The forum is an great way to foster community in your Site - but you can still turn it off from the Settings screen.

Let’s dive in!

To access the forum settings:

1. Select Content from your Simplero Dashboard

2. In the Sites tab, locate and select the site

3. Select the Forum tab

4. Toggle the switch ON to Enable the forum:
   
   
   

5. Select the Settings icon in the top right corner:
   
   
   

6. Complete the Forum settings:

   1. Set Permissions for posts and comments

   2. Tell people how to use the forum in the Intro text section:
      
      
      

      • Click the Save changes button

Adding a Forum Post

1. Select Content from your Simplero Dashboard

2. In the Sites tab, locate and select the Site

3. Select the Forum tab

4. Click the + Add a forum post button located in the top right corner or the middle of the page:
   
   
   

5. Complete all fields and click the Create forum post button to save:
   
   

Add a Category

1. Select Content from your Simplero Dashboard

2. In the Sites tab, locate and select the site

3. Select the Forum tab

4. Select the Settings icon in the top right corner:
   
   
   

5. Click the + Add forum category button on the right side-bar:
   
   
   

6. Add your category directly in the Forum categories box and press the checkmark to save:
   
   

NOTE! Members can reorder the comments on a forum post by Newest, Oldest and Top:

• Newest: Most recent comments will be at the top, in descending order.

• Oldest: Least recent comments will be at the top, in ascending order.

• Top: Comments with the most replies will be at the top.

  • If no comments have replies, then the order of the comments will not change.
