Why add Social Media icons to your Sites and Pages

• They’re another way for you to connect with your current or potential customers.

• Social media is more interactive than just having a website.

• They can show how you communicate and engage with your customers.

• Customers don't just want to visit your website to know who you are and what you offer — they may also go to your Facebook page, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, etc. to find out your relationships or interactions with the community.

To use Social Media Icons as part of your Site(s) Footers, you must enter all your social network URLs in the Social profiles section under your Site configuration. Here’s how…

How to Add Social Media Icons to your Site Default Footer

This is where you’ll enter your Social profiles for Facebook, Google+, Instagram, etc. Once you've entered all or some of your social media information, you’ll see the icons on the bottom Default footer of your website (wherever you’re using it).

1. Head to your Site (Marketing >> Main Website or Content >> Sites and select the Site).

2. Select the Configure tab.

3. Scroll down to the Social profiles section and enter the links to your various social media:
   

   • Facebook Profile

   • Instagram

   • Youtube

   • LinkedIn

   • TikTok

   • X/Twitter

   • Pinterest

   • Snapchat

   • Vimeo
     
     
     

4. Scroll to the bottom and click the Save changes button.

5. Now head to Layouts & Navigation via the white button in the top right-hand corner:
   
   
   

6. Make sure to toggle ON the Site Social Links section:
   
   

Now your Social icons will now appear on the Default footer of this site! 🎉

How to Add Social Media Icons to your Site/Landing Page Custom Footer:

When you create your landing page, it does not come with a Default Footer. Instead of using the Default Footer, you can create a Custom Footer using one of our Footer Section Templates - this is available for Landing Pages AND Sites.

This section allows you to add your social media icons, custom links and custom text directly on the footer!

Here’s how:

1. On your page, press + Add new section:
   
   
   

2. Choose the Footer Template on the left side of the popup, then press the Template on the bottom to add it to the page:
   
   
   

3. This Footer Template comes with custom images for Instagram, Facebook and X/Twitter - you can remove those icons (by removing the Image Elements), or edit them and add your own:

4. Now click on each social media icon image and toggle on the Link option. This will allow you to paste the link to your social media account for that platform to be the link for that icon:
   
   

NOTE! If you added the Custom Footer to your Site, follow these instructions to turn off the Default Footer (so you don’t have two footers at the bottom of your page):

1. Head to the Site (Content >> Sites >> Choose the site)

2. Press the Edit Layout & Navigation button

3. Hover over Footer on the right side of the popup, and press the eyeball icon with a slash through it to hide it:
