What Do the Secretive Options Mean

This feature is useful when you want to hide the broadcast from your archive or prevent people from viewing it on the web. 

To see the Secretive Options:

  1. Select Marketing from your Simplero Dashboard.

  2. Select Email Broadcasts from the drop down menu

  3. Click the Delivered tab, locate and click on the broadcast you've sent (You can also select your broadcast from the "All" tab):


  4. You'll see the Broadcast overview and if you look on the bottom right corner, you'll see the Secretive Options section:

 Remove web version means we remove the ability to view it online in the browser. For example, Google happens to find the email and someone clicks on the link. Well, when they do that they won't be able to view it. 

Allowing your customers to access your archive of emails:

When a customer signs up to a list, you can allow them to access an archive of the previous emails sent to that list. To do so:

  1. Select the Contacts from your Simplero Dashboard

  2. Select Lists from the dropdown menu

  3. Select the list you want to set the Archive option for

  4. Select the Configure tab

  5. Scroll down to the Advanced Settings toggle the Let people access an archive of emails sent to this list” option ON

  6. Choose the option you want for Archive

    • Public - URL will be public and searchable

    • Secret - URL will be unique and hard to find


  7. Click the blue Save Changes button

How will my customers access the archive?

  1. They will need to click the “manage your preferences” link on any email that you sent to that list:


  2. This will open a page showing the lists they are subscribed to. The ones that have the archive option active will show as hyperlinks:

  3. If they click on the list, it will show a list of all emails sent:
