WebinarJam

Updated Mar 3, 2026

WebinarJam is a popular webinar hosting application that makes it easy to set up and run webinars.

Simplero provides a simple, one-way integration that allows you to include auto-registration links in your emails to your contacts, so people can register for your WebinarJam webinars with one click – and without having to fill in their contact information all over again.

At the End of This Lesson

You’ll have WebinarJam connected to Simplero so you can insert one-click WebinarJam registration links into your Simplero emails.

Before You Start

  • A WebinarJam account

  • At least one webinar already created in WebinarJam (required to find the API details)

Overview of the Steps

  1. Get your Member ID and API Key from WebinarJam

  2. Add those details in Simplero → Integrations

  3. Insert a WebinarJam auto-registration link into an email

  4. Optional: Getting Registrants Into Simplero

*Troubleshooting

Step-by-Step Instructions

Step 1: Get your WebinarJam Member ID + API Key

  1. Log in to WebinarJam

  2. Go to My Webinars

  3. Click Advanced next to any webinar (The API info is the same for all webinars, but you must have at least one webinar created.)

  4. In the pop-up/modal, click API custom integration

  5. Copy:

    • Member ID

    • API Key

Step 2: Add the integration in Simplero

  1. In Simplero, go to Settings → Integrations

  2. Find WebinarJam

  3. Click +Add

  4. Paste your Member ID and API Key

  5. Click Add integration

✅ Your WebinarJam integration is now set up.

Step 3: Insert an auto-registration link into a Simplero email

  1. Open or edit an email in Simplero

  2. In the body section, click {} Variable → WebinarJam auto-registration link

  3. In the pop-up/modal, select the webinar you want

  4. Click Insert link

A link will be added to your email (usually showing the webinar name/date/time). You can edit the link text—just don’t break the URL behind it.

Important note: Only future-scheduled webinars show in the list. Past webinars won’t appear.

Optional: Getting Registrants Into Simplero

Simplero’s WebinarJam integration is one-way (Simplero → WebinarJam registration links).
If you want WebinarJam registrants to automatically appear in Simplero, use one of these:

Option A: Use Zapier (automatic)

  • Connect WebinarJam with Zapier via this guide.

  • Connect Simplero with Zapier as explained here.

  • In Zapier...

    • Use WebinarJam as the Trigger

    • Add Simplero as the next step (e.g., add/update contact, add to list)

Option B: Export/Import (manual)

  • Download registrants from WebinarJam as a CSV

  • Import them into a Simplero list

Common best practice:

  • Send pre-webinar emails from WebinarJam (so attendees get the correct join info)

  • Send follow-up emails from Simplero (better list/email automation control)

Troubleshooting

  • I don’t see my webinar in the insert list

    • Make sure the webinar is scheduled in the future in WebinarJam.

  • I can’t find Member ID / API Key

    • You must have at least one webinar created, then open Advanced → API custom integration.

  • The link text changed—did I break it?

    • Changing the visible text is fine; the URL is what matters. Re-insert the link if unsure.

  • I want registrants to show up in Simplero automatically

    • That requires Zapier (or CSV import). The built-in integration doesn’t pull registrants in.

You’re Done When…

  • WebinarJam shows as connected in Simplero → Settings → Integrations

  • In an email, you can successfully insert a WebinarJam auto-registration link

  • Clicking the link registers a contact without re-entering their details (one-click registration behavior)
