Welcome to creating and configuring your product.We're gonna go ahead and set one up together and just do a high level overview of how to do it.So what is a product in Simplero?It's exactly as it sounds like.It's essentially how you're gonna make money.

It's what you sell.So the product is the gateway for them to access the content you're selling to them.So they have to pay you through a product.Alright?So let's set one up.

You're gonna go ahead and go to sales products.And, here you'll see we've got some already enlisted, but you would click create new product up here.Once you have products, you can see them here.You can, organize them, star them, put them in different, tabs, make it easier to find them depending on how many you have.So go ahead and click create new product in the top right, and you're gonna go ahead and give your product a name.

So I'm gonna call this Christina's, product.Now you can add a product card.So on the order form so every product comes with an order form, which is essentially the the page where they have to actually pay.So they put their name and email.They choose their payment processor like Stripe or PayPal or, QuickPay if you're in Denmark, for example, and then they click the submit payment button.

So we're gonna show you what the order form looks like.But here, under product card, if you add a card image and a description, this will show up on the order form on the right side.And it will also show up when you share the order form on social media or when your customers view what they have access to in their account.You'll see we have recommended sizes for the image right here, which can help.So when you're creating a product, we give you the option to create your first price here.

But you can always edit it back in the product once it's created, and you can always create more.So let's say I want this to be a monthly subscription.I can go ahead and just choose, what is the amount.This account's in USD, so that's my currency with tax.Taxes on for this account.

That's why it's showing, but it might not show for you if your global tax settings are set to off.How How long does it get access for?Let's say we're doing it for a month, and then it'll just keep, rolling, and renewing until they cancel.I'm not gonna go too much into the price settings, but we do have a guide on how to, configure the prices to go a little deeper.We link it here.

Tax settings.So, again, I'm also not gonna go too deep into this, but you can essentially choose whether you want to include tax or not.It depends on whether your, your global tax settings over here are set to allow taxes, then we add a tax setting option on your products.And you can choose to exempt that product from taxes anyways if needed.We have the link to your global attack global account tax settings here if you wanna use that, and per country overrides are to override tax tax in, for certain countries, and do a different amount.

It's pretty straightforward.If you don't have any live elements, just choose this one.If you do, choose this one.But, you'll wanna check with your, your accountant to see exactly what the tax settings should be for your product.Welcome email.

This is how you can configure the welcome email that goes out.It would be the first auto response, in the product, that will immediately an email that's immediately sent to them after they purchase.So you can start writing that here or you can ignore it, and you don't have to, have to write it yet.And then we have a whole bunch of other options here.These are much more nitty gritty.

If you need them, you can look through them.If you have any questions about them, just go ahead and put in a ticket, and our support team is happy to, help you out with that.So I'm gonna go ahead and click create product here.So now you'll see you've got all the different tabs here, so you can keep configuring your product.The auto response, if you had started to write one, that welcome letter would show up here, and you can add more.

You can configure the prices here.You can edit the price if you need to fix it.You can add more prices.You can configure the order form here.If you need to add more fields like their phone number or a specific custom field, you need more information.

Upselling is not available on the starter plan.Believe it's available for Calvin and skyrocket.But upselling, you would only be able to do, if you have another product that, for example, you want to add as an upsell to this one, or you can make this product an upselling product.I won't go into deep detail on that.The configure tab here, again, you can edit the product card again, tax settings, all those options.

So you'll find all of the options that we we gave you, when you were creating the product.Same with, the content tab.This is where you can give access to what the product needs to give access to, whether it's a site or a course inside the site.The thank you page for the product goes here.We have different options for that.

You could use our default thank you page and just put your own copy on it, which doesn't allow you to customize the design.But it does already include the links to anything that the product gives access to, whether a freebie or a course or site, or you can redirect to a site that you have.You have to give access to the site up here, but you can redirect to it once they purchase.Or, you can redirect to any other URL, like a custom thank you page, etcetera.You can start an automation, and you can trigger any other things on the product so that something happens when they purchase.

Like, they get a tag or they subscribe to a list or, you know, whatever you want to do there.And then the other thing is, yeah, content files would be if, for example, you're selling an ebook or an audio download, a video, a PDF, anything that can just be linked up here will go on the thank you page, but the default thank you page.So if you wanna use this spot, we will automatically link whatever you put here to the default thank you page if you're using it.If you're redirecting to a site or a different URL, then this won't matter, and you'll wanna make sure and link it.Link the file that they're paying for to the thank you page there, and in the auto response.

Those are usually the two places we recommend linking your content.And lastly, on the top right hand corner, you'll see the different links that you have, that they can use.So up here, we've got the order form.Now this is every product will come with an order form, like I mentioned.You can have, their first name, last name, whatever other, the email and whatever other fields would show here.

They can choose their payment processor here.They'll see the amount on the right.They can choose between prices here if you have more than one, their billing address details, and they would just accept here.We also have, yes, please send me important news and special offers via email.So this checkbox is your marketing checkbox, and you can control which, list they get put on if they check this box.

So under the order form tab here, you'll see email opt in checkbox.So default is just your home list or your house list.But if you switch to custom, you can choose a different list that they go on instead when they choose that, and none would remove the checkbox altogether.Okay?And if you choose custom, you can also override the label and the sublabel.

Just keep in mind that if you're, promoting this product to multiple, countries, then if you override the marketing checkbox label, we will not automatically translate it based on the browser language of the person who is trying to purchase.Okay.So that's a very high level overview of your product.You can see the purchases here, etcetera, the participants, and then the summary will also show you details about your purchase in some pie charts and some different data.If you have any questions, feel free to reach out to support, but go ahead and try creating your first product and let us know how it goes.
