One of the key features of Simplero is its integrations with other software and applications. These integrations allow Simplero users to connect their accounts with other tools and services, such as email marketing platforms, payment gateways, and social media networks.

API Keys
Included in Simplero plans: Scale and Skyrocket An API key is like a login/password that other software applications can use to interact with your Simplero account on your behalf using our API. Be careful who you give them to, as they're just like giving people admin rights to your account. Create a new API key for each situation so that you can easily delete the ones that are no longer needed. Adding an API Key Select Settings gear from your Simplero Dashboard Select Integrations from the dropdown You'll see the first section is called API Keys Click the + Create new API Key button to get started: Follow the pop-up screen to add the API key by giving the API key a name Once the system generates the API you will select the Clipboard icon next to it, that will copy the API key and now you can paste it where you need it: If you or your developer wants to access our API directly, please see our documentation on https://simplero.com/api/v2/docs

Leadpages
Sometimes a Simplero user will choose to use a Leadpage for a landing page because they like the template or because they had a pre-existing Leadpages account and don't want to redo the page in Simplero.   This guide will explain how to use a Simplero opt-in form on a Leadpage so that people who opt-in using your Leadpage will be added to your Simplero mailing list, receive your content and your auto-responses and get access to your membership site.   Step One - Use the Standard Builder Be sure you are using a Leadpage built with their Standard builder. Their Drag & Drop Builder does not support an integration. There is a way to put HTML code in a Drag and Drop built page, but it will not function properly.  Leadpages site defaults to "Drag and Drop" so you will need to switch to Standard. If you want to determine if your existing  Leadpage was created in Standard or Drag and Drop, just look at the icons on your list of Leadpages.  A blue icon means it uses a Drag and Drop template and a green icon means it uses a Standard template.  Step Two - Connect your Simplero Opt-In Form Once you are in the Standard page, click on the Gear icon next to 'Opt-In Button', and then select 'Link Options'. From there you have two choices. If you want to direct them to a Full Themed Simplero Opt-In Form, select 'Go to a URL' and enter the URL of your Opt-In Form.' It's pretty self-explanatory from that point forward so the rest of this guide will focus on Option 2, below.  If you want the customer to stay within Leadpages, select 'Show Opt-In Form’. This option uses a raw code Simplero form. There are instructions below regarding where to find this code.  Next, click on 'Advanced Settings' and then 'View/Edit'. Select 'Integration Settings' from the top of the list on the left and then click 'Other' under 'HTML Copy/Paste' in the top box. Copy your raw form code from Simplero and enter it in the HTML code box. To get the code that you need to paste here... Select Lists & Contacts from your Simplero Dashboard In the Lists tab, select your List Select the Signup forms tab and click the + Create a new signup form button at the top right corner Select the Create a raw HTML landing page type of signup form This gives you the code that you need to copy and then enter into Leadpages Once you have entered your raw form code, click Okay and then 'Save changes' when Leadpages drops down a warning. Step Three - Edit your Leadpage Fields If GDPR consent is turned on for your Account and List, then the GDPR consent language that you entered into your Simplero account will show up in your Leadpages.    You will probably want to erase the label text (Gdpr_consent) that shows up and uncheck the Confirmation box that Leadpages provides – you don’t need that because you are using Simplero’s GDPR confirmation.  You can edit the other fields in the Leadbox and link to your Simplero privacy policy if you want. Voila!  Done!   P.S.  Leadpages does not have a direct integration with Simplero. We wish they did, but they don’t. Please ask them to integrate with Simplero. The more people ask, the better chance of integration happening!

WebinarJam
WebinarJam is a popular webinar hosting application that makes it easy to set up and run webinars. Simplero provides a simple, one-way integration that allows you to include auto-registration links in your emails to your contacts, so people can register for your WebinarJam webinars with one click – and without having to fill in their contact information all over again.  At the End of This Lesson You’ll have WebinarJam connected to Simplero so you can insert one-click WebinarJam registration links into your Simplero emails. Before You Start A WebinarJam account At least one webinar already created in WebinarJam (required to find the API details) Overview of the Steps Get your Member ID and API Key from WebinarJam Add those details in Simplero → Integrations Insert a WebinarJam auto-registration link into an email Optional: Getting Registrants Into Simplero *Troubleshooting Step-by-Step Instructions Step 1: Get your WebinarJam Member ID + API Key Log in to WebinarJam Go to My Webinars Click Advanced next to any webinar (The API info is the same for all webinars, but you must have at least one webinar created.) In the pop-up/modal, click API custom integration Copy: Member ID API Key Step 2: Add the integration in Simplero In Simplero, go to Settings → Integrations Find WebinarJam Click +Add Paste your Member ID and API Key Click Add integration ✅ Your WebinarJam integration is now set up. Step 3: Insert an auto-registration link into a Simplero email Open or edit an email in Simplero In the body section, click {} Variable → WebinarJam auto-registration link In the pop-up/modal, select the webinar you want Click Insert link A link will be added to your email (usually showing the webinar name/date/time). You can edit the link text—just don’t break the URL behind it. Important note: Only future-scheduled webinars show in the list. Past webinars won’t appear. Optional: Getting Registrants Into Simplero Simplero’s WebinarJam integration is one-way (Simplero → WebinarJam registration links). If you want WebinarJam registrants to automatically appear in Simplero, use one of these: Option A: Use Zapier (automatic) Connect WebinarJam with Zapier via this guide. Connect Simplero with Zapier as explained here.  In Zapier... Use WebinarJam as the Trigger Add Simplero as the next step (e.g., add/update contact, add to list) Option B: Export/Import (manual) Download registrants from WebinarJam as a CSV Import them into a Simplero list Common best practice: Send pre-webinar emails from WebinarJam (so attendees get the correct join info) Send follow-up emails from Simplero (better list/email automation control) Troubleshooting I don’t see my webinar in the insert list Make sure the webinar is scheduled in the future in WebinarJam. I can’t find Member ID / API Key You must have at least one webinar created, then open Advanced → API custom integration. The link text changed—did I break it? Changing the visible text is fine; the URL is what matters. Re-insert the link if unsure. I want registrants to show up in Simplero automatically That requires Zapier (or CSV import). The built-in integration doesn’t pull registrants in. You’re Done When… WebinarJam shows as connected in Simplero → Settings → Integrations In an email, you can successfully insert a WebinarJam auto-registration link Clicking the link registers a contact without re-entering their details (one-click registration behavior)

EverWebinar
Integrating with EverWebinar EverWebinar is a popular webinar hosting application that makes it easy to set up and run webinars. Simplero provides a simple, one-way, integration that allows you to include auto-registration links in your emails to your contacts, so people can register for your EverWebinar webinars with one click – and without having to fill in their contact information all over again.  Setting up the integration with EverWebinar To set up the integration with EverWebinar, you need to collect two pieces of information from EverWebinar for us to be able to talk to your account. Follow the steps below: Log in to your EverWebinar account Under "My webinars", click the Advanced link next to any one of your webinars. The information we need is the same for all webinars, but you must have at least one webinar set up in order to get the information.  3. Click the API custom integration option in the modal that appears:   4. Copy the Member Id and API Key  Now, go to your Simplero account and follow these steps: Got to Settings > Integrations Find EverWebinar in the list of available integrations and click Add EverWebinar integration Fill in the member ID and API key from EverWebinar and click Add integration Your integration is now set up. Adding auto-registration links to emails When editing an email after setting up the EverWebinar integration, choose "Insert" > "EverWebinar auto-registration link": In the resulting modal, you can now choose between any of your upcoming webinars: Note that only webinars that have been scheduled some time in the future will be listed. Past webinars will not. If you don't see your webinar in the list, make sure you have a schedule set up in EverWebinar. When you've found the webinar you want people to be able to register for, click "Insert link" and a link will be inserted into the email with the name, date and time prefilled by default. Feel free to change the title of the link – it's the URL that's important. Getting your registrants from EverWebinar to Simplero If you want your registrants in EverWebinar to automatically get on a list in Simplero, you have to use Zapier, since EverWebinar is still not offering any options for direct integration with Simplero. Here's how to set it up through Zapier. If you never need to move more than 100 registrants per month, you can use the Zapier free plan. You connect EverWebinar with Zapier via this guide. The Simplero end of things is explained here.  EverWebinar is the trigger app, and then you add Simplero as the next step. You can also just download the registrants from EverWebinar as a CSV file and import to a list in Simplero. Usually the best practice is to send your prewebinar mails through EverWebinar, so people get the right link, and then the follow up mails through Simplero.

How to Integrate Simplero with Mailchimp
Why use the Mailchimp Integration? Some people like their MailChimp. Who are we to stop them? Specifically, MailChimp has a much fancier graphical email editor than Simplero, because we believe in simplicity, and we know that more plain-looking emails actually convert better, meaning people click and buy more. If you integrate your MailChimp with Simplero, you can: Automatically add everyone who purchases from you (for any of your Simplero products) and wants marketing to your Mailchimp house  list Link a specific Mailchimp listto each Simplero product Use triggers and automation stepsto subscribe your customers to your Mailchimp lists Add your MailChimp Integration Select Settings - Integrations Scroll down to the MailChimp Integration section Click +Add  Add your MailChimp API Key (you will find this in your Mailchimp account) Choose which list in Mailchimp your customers will be added to. By default, everyone who purchases from you and checks the marketing box will be added to this list. We sign up for both the Simplero main list and Mailchimp, if both are defined. Save changes Subscribing all participants of one specific product to a Mailchimp list Before you do this, make sure you have added your integration. Go to the Product you want Choose Settings - Options Scroll down to find Mailchimp Integration. Choose your Mailchimp list from the dropdown.  When you do this, each participant will automatically be added to this list, and if they cancel or fail to pay on time, they're automatically removed too. Automatically subscribing and unsubscribing from a list in Mailchimp After you have added the integration, you will get the option of subscribing to or unsubscribing from MailChimp lists in all your Simplero triggers and automations, which in turn lets you do a bunch more cool stuff.

Want to integrate Interact Quizzes with your Simplero account? Here's how:  Steps for Integrating Interact Quizzes In your Simplero dashboard, navigate to Settings >> Integrations. Click Create new API Key.   In the popup, enter a purpose for your API Key, ideally something similar to "Interact." Click Ok. Click on the copy icon under the Get column to copy your API Key. You'll need this for the next step. Connect Simplero to Your Interact App  Create a new Quiz. On the next two pages, choose the type of quiz you want to create Once the quiz is created, on the left side, turn on the "lead generation" option: This will prompt you to select your form fields and settings. Set them up and click on "Save and continue":   On the next page, choose Simplero from your list of integrations: Copy and paste your Simplero API Key and click Connect API. Map Interact Triggers to Simplero Actions  In the following steps, you'll have the chance to map a set of Simplero actions to individual Interact triggers. A trigger can be, for example, when a quiz taker receives a specific quiz result or submits a specific quiz answer. To open the list of Simplero actions, click on Add Action: In the slideout menu, you'll see a list of available actions to run in Simplero. The available actions are: Add to List: Choose a Simplero list from the dropdown to add new contacts to a specific Simplero list. Example: For a quiz result trigger, you can connect results to different lists to send autoresponders specific to the quiz result your customers received. Update Contact Field: Choose a Simplero contact field from the dropdown to update the contact field for new contacts with a specific value. The value will auto-populate with the trigger name, but you can customize this with any value you want. Example: For a quiz result trigger, you can choose the Simplero contact field "Quiz Result Title" from the dropdown and populate the field with the quiz result title for your quiz. Add Tag to Contact: Choose an existing Simplero tag from the dropdown to add to the new contact. If the contact already exists, the tags will be added to the existing contact. Note: Tags can only be added to a contact, not removed. Once you're finished with one trigger, you can select a different trigger from the left sidebar. When you've set all triggers that you need for your specific setup, be sure to click Save & Continue. Note: You can choose more than one action per trigger Map Form Fields to Simplero Contact Fields In your Interact Form Fields, you'll find an overview of the way your opt-in form fields are connected to Simplero contact fields. Default fields (Email, First Name, Last Name) can't be changed.  For all other custom fields, choose one contact field from the dropdown that you would like to populate with the form value. Example: mapping custom field Country to "Custom Field 1" will populate the value inputted for Country into the Simplero contact field "Custom Field 1." When you're finished with mapping your form fields, be sure to click Save & Continue. If you find you need to make changes, you may edit the integration settings at any time. Notes: If your quiz is already published and embedded, any changes made to the integrations will require you to publish your quiz after the changes have been saved. Existing Simplero contacts will be added to the specified lists. New tags will also be added to the existing contact, and contact field values will be updated with the newly inputted values.

Zapier
We are excited to tell you about an awesome feature, Zapier Integration! Zapier is a service that connects the web apps you use to easily move your data and automate tedious tasks. They have 300+ popular apps on their roster; think Gmail, Salesforce, Basecamp et al. And we are now pleased to announce that Simplero has joined that list. Zapier operates on an "if this happens, then do this" principle. Technically, we call them triggers and actions.  If trigger happens, then perform an action.  For example, you have a "Contact Us" form on your sales page, and you would like to add whoever submits the form to a list called "Potential Customers" in Simplero.  The Zapier integration is built just for this! Here are all the things you can have Zapier trigger in Simplero: Add Purchase - create a new purchase for a selected product. Create or Update Contact - Add a new contact or optionally update the information about a contact in Simplero. Tag Existing Contact - Add a tag to an existing contact Subscribe to a List - Subscribe a customer to a list in Simplero. Remove Subscription to a List - Unsubscribe from a list Remove Tag from Contact - Removes a tag from a contact. Zapier also works the other way, from Simplero to other apps. e.g. When someone makes a purchase in Simplero, you would like to send them a thank you card... Simplero + Zapier + Thankster can make it happen. Here are all the things that you can have Simplero fire in Zapier: New Purchase - Will be fired whenever a new purchase is made in Simplero. Tag Added to Contact - Triggers when a tag is added to a contact. Delete Subscription - This will be triggered when a customer opts out of a list. An example of a desired action would be to send an Email or SMS. New Subscription - Triggered when someone subscribes to a list. Tag Removed From Contact - Triggers when a tag is removed from a contact. Delete Purchase - Fired when a purchase expires, is canceled, or is refunded. How to Set Up a Zap Sign up with Zapier account, using this link. If you are already a Zapier customer, simply log in to your account. Click the Create Zap button to get started Search for Simplero for your Trigger App  Choose your trigger and click the Continue button (New or Delete a purchase or subscription, or tags added to a contact) Go back to your Simplero account in a new tab and create a new API key for Zapier Select Settings from Simplero Dashboard Select the Integrations tab Click the +Create new API key button Enter Zapier for your API key name Once the system generates the API you will select the Clipboard icon next to it, that will copy the API key and now you can paste it to connect Simplero with your Zapier account Go back to your Zapier account and click the +Connect an account button to connect your Simplero Account  Paste the API key that you copied from your Simplero account and click the Yes+Continue button Test your connection (If you chose the Purchase trigger step, you can create a purchase by buying the freebie link)  When successful, click the Continue button Repeat steps 3-4 for what will happen after Trigger Action in Simplero  Test your new trigger Finish settting up the Actions and Turn on your Zap Find all your Zaps in your Zapier dashboard where you can turn on/off all your triggers, as well as rename them. Happy integrating! Note! If you use the Action: Create or Update a contact in Simplero… You will have the option to either override existing values or not. Choose Yes if you would like to update a contact value when importing data from Zapier. Choose No if you would like to only import new values and do not update existing data already stored in Simplero.

How To Use the Zoom Integration
Our integration with Zoom allows you to sync your meetings and webinars in Simplero! This integration lets you track upcoming events and attendance details. You can also add multiple triggers based on your webinar events and participants to perform powerful actions. Plus, people who register for an event in Zoom can automatically become Contacts in your Simplero account.  To use this feature, all you need is a Zoom account. To see our detailed guide about using the Zoom events after adding the integration, check out this guide. In this guide, we cover... Installation Usage Triggers Actions Adding a Link to a Zoom Event to Your Email Limitations Uninstallation Installation To get started, you first have to connect your Zoom account to Simplero. To do so, you can click on Content > Events on the navbar and then click the button that says "Connect with Zoom now." After this step, you'll be directed to Zoom to authorize the Simplero integration. If you are not already logged into Zoom, it will prompt you to log into your Zoom Account. If you are already logged in, it will prompt you to connect to Simplero which you will want to click connect: If the account you are currently logged into is not the one you want to use, you can click the ‘Switch Account’ option: You will also see that option if you are wanting to add additional Zoom accounts. The current Zoom integration does allow for multiple Zoom accounts to be connected to an account. You will need to login and connect each Zoom account that you want to have connected your Simplero account. You can also have your Zoom account connected to different Simplero accounts if you are an admin on multiple accounts. You can also do so directly in your Integrations settings: On the page of integrations, you’ll want to scroll down to Zoom and click ‘Connect to Zoom’: Once you've authorized the integration, you’ll see the option to import your meetings and webinars at the Events page. Enter the zoom event URL to import the event into Simplero: You can import all events from Zoom too: click on the top right meatballs menu > Import all events from Zoom. You are also able to create an event inside of Simplero with Zoom as the location as long as your Zoom account is integrated: That's it. Pretty simple, right? Note: You will need to import your events whenever you add new events to your Zoom account. New events are not automatically imported.  Usage We'll keep all your events synced with Zoom automatically and in real-time. That means, if you modify your webinar or meeting event on Zoom, the changes will be reflected in Simplero in a couple of seconds. When someone registers for your webinar on Zoom, they'll show up as a Contact in Simplero as well. You can also always trigger manual sync with Zoom using the "Sync events from Zoom" button on the top right of the Events page in Simplero. Here are a few things you can do with this feature: You can click on event names to view more info about the event, see participants, and add triggers. You can click on the "Participants" tab to view all the participants that were registered for an event (if registration is enabled). You can filter the participants by their registration status like "Pending," "Approved," or "Cancelled." You can also filter by "Attendees" or "Absentees." And you can perform various actions on participants like you can on a Simplero contact, such as sending a broadcast, giving access to a course, etc. You can start the meeting from the click of a button inside Simplero! Click here to learn more. You can click on the Content tab to add triggers to your events. This means you can start registrants in automations, add tags, and do whatever you can do with Simplero triggers! Triggers related to Zoom events The following triggers are available: A participant registers for an event. A participant's registration is approved. A participant's registration is denied. A participant's registration is canceled. A participant's registration is canceled by the participant. A participant joins an event. A participant leaves an event or event ends. You can add these triggers in your automations or by clicking the "Content" tab on the events page. Actions There are also four actions related to events that you can perform on any contact: Register for an event. Approve registration for an event. Deny registration for an event (if the registration is pending). Cancel registration for an event (if the registration is already approved). For example, if someone subscribes to your list, you approve their registration for an event. Think of all the other possibilities! Note: The registration triggers and actions will only work on events that have registrations enabled. Adding a Link to a Zoom Event to Your Email You can also link to your upcoming events in your calendar using our link dialog. To do that, click the link icon on your email broadcast editor then using the link picker box to select "Events,": This will show you the list of different events that you have in your account to select. Once you selected an event, it will add a link that will allow your recipients to view your event details, register for the event and save them to their calendars. Limitations Meetings that use a Personal Meeting ID (PMI) are not supported and will not allow you to import them. Please make sure that when you create a meeting, you choose "Generate meeting ID automatically." This should be the default already, but if you've changed it before, you need to switch it back for our integration to work properly. Only scheduled meetings are supported; instant meetings are not. If you are using a Basic Zoom account, be aware that Zoom doesn't support registration on basic accounts. In those cases, we won't offer registration to users on those events.  Recurring Zoom events must have a set number of occurrences or a set end date. Events with no end date will be unable to be imported. Uninstallation Uninstalling the Zoom integration is also pretty simple. You have two options here. You can do it from Zoom, like this:  Log in to your Zoom account and navigate to the Zoom App Marketplace. Click Manage > Installed Apps or search for the Simplero app. Click the Simplero app. Click Uninstall. You can do it from Simplero, like this:  Click Settings on the navbar, and then click on Integrations in the sidebar. You'll see your Zoom integration listed in the Active integrations list. If you want to delete the integration but keep the associated data in Simplero, click "Remove integration and keep associated data." If you want to delete the integration and all the associated data like Events, Participants & any associated contact records, click "Remove integration along with any associated data." Note: If you remove the integration and associated data, we're legally required to delete all the associated data like events, participants, and customers that came from Zoom. If anything is unclear or if you need help, reach out to our amazing support team by creating a support ticket. We'd love to help you!

Acuity Scheduling for Bookings
We recommend using Simplero's scheduling links. You can keep everything in one place, do some cool stuff and save some money! However, if you still want to use Acuity Scheduling this guide outlines 2 methods of integrating Simplero with Acuity Scheduling.  Send Booking Link when a Customer Purchases a Product The most common case is when a customer purchases a product that requires they book time with you, that you automatically email them a link to schedule.  To do that in Acuity Scheduling, you will first get the URL found under "Scheduling Page Link".  Then in the Simplero product (Sales >> Products), we'll setup an Auto-Response email to automatically send the customer the link to book time with you once they purchase that product.  You will create an auto-response email that includes the link to book time with you.  Then when a customer purchases that product they are sent this email and given the option to schedule time with you on your calendar.  Setting up the Simplero / Acuity Integration There is also an integration which allows your customers who are scheduling appointments with you in Acuity Scheduling to be added to one of your Simplero lists.  Here are the steps to setup that integration:  Log into your Acuity account Select Business Settings from your Acuity Dashboard Select the Integrations tab Find and select Simplero, click the green Set Up button and a pop-up menu will appear Go back to your Simplero account Set up an API Key Paste that API key from your Simplero in the pop up menu from step 4 Once your connection is set-up you will be able to select the list that your customers are added to when new appointments are scheduled. Optionally, you can subscribe new clients to your Simplero list when booking. Just create an intake form with a Checkbox or Yes/No Choice question like "Do you want to join our mailing list?" and select it. FAQ The integration allows customers to be added to a Simplero list when booking an appointment in Acuity. How can I get the information about the appointment to Simplero (ie. the time, the calendar they booked on, etc)?  >> Only the contact name, email, and appointment type (as a tag) is added to Simplero's contact record. Time, calendar, etc.. is not sent to us from Acuity. You might use Zapier to get this info onto the contact record. See this guide to know how to set up Zapier. Why contacts are not showing as new subscribers when they've made an appointment? >> Only clients booked through your client scheduling page who answered yes to your opt-in question will be subscribed.

Embed a Facebook Page Widget
Embed a Facebook Page Widget on Your Simplero Site Want to showcase your Facebook timeline, events, or messages directly on your Simplero site? Adding a Facebook Page plugin is a great way to keep your site visitors up-to-date and socially engaged — especially if your business relies on Facebook for community, marketing, or event visibility. Note: This works only with Facebook Pages — not personal profiles or groups. Step 1: Create Your Facebook Widget Go to the official Facebook Page Plugin setup tool: 👉 https://developers.facebook.com/docs/plugins/page-plugin In the Facebook Page URL field, enter the full URL of your Facebook Page (e.g., https://www.facebook.com/yourpage). Customize your widget: Tabs: Choose from timeline, events, or messages — separate multiple with commas (e.g., timeline, events) Width: Enter the desired width (max 500 pixels) Height: Enter the desired height (minimum 70 pixels) Toggle the following options based on your preference: Use Small Header Hide Cover Photo Adapt to container width Show Friend’s Faces Click Get Code In the window that appears, you’ll see two tabs — JavaScript SDK and IFrame Choose IFrame, then highlight the code inside the box and press Ctrl + C (Windows) or ⌘ + C (Mac) to copy it to your clipboard. Step 2: Add the Widget to Simplero Step 2.1: In Simplero, go to the page where you'd like the widget to appear, and add an HTML Block to the page. Step 2.2 Paste the IFrame code you copied from Facebook into that block, and publish your changes. That's it! Here is the end result:  ----- Notice anything wacky in this guide? Debug a Facebook or LinkedIN share
Every now and then when you go to share a link to your site on Facebook or Linked-in it will pull old content. Don't worry though it is a known challenge with a quick and easy fix. Facebook debugger Facebook has a Sharing Debugger. You'll want to put your link in there and it will then see the information that is used when your website content is shared on Facebook, Messenger and other places.  You will see what meta tags the crawler scrapes as well as any errors or warnings. The debugger also triggers a scrape of your page, so if you do have errors in your HTML you can use the debugger to update your content. Once you are ready click the "scrape again" button to fix the issue with old content and with that you should be good to go.  See Facebook's guide on Updating Objects to learn more. Note: If there is another image on the same page that is larger than the main image you have selected for your article, there is a chance that Facebook will opt for the larger image instead. Even if your chosen image meets Facebook's guidelines! LinkedIn Post-inspector LinkedIn has a post-inspector, that removes old content.  Go to the post-inspector, add the link that you want to share, and click "inspect". The updated content will now show.  Then try sharing your URL on LinkedIn. See LinkedIn’s guide on clearing link preview cache here.

Meta Integration: Meta Pixel and Verifying Domains
We all want good data, right?  Good data is critical to building a successful online business.  And, whether we like it or not, Meta has a lot of that data.   Simplero makes it easy to send data back to Meta.  All you need to do is add your Meta Pixel (previously called Facebook Pixel) in one place. Just one. We’ll track all the relevant events accordingly.  Even if you’re not using Meta ads yet, you should install the Meta Pixel now. It'll start collecting data right away so that you don’t have to start from scratch when you’re ready to create your first Meta ad. In this guide, we will cover: Where Do I Add the Pixel in Simplero?  Where Do I Get the Pixel in Meta?  What Events Are Tracked Automatically?  Conversions API Access Token Testing the Setup Verifying Your Domain Meta App ID FAQ Where Do I Add the Pixel in Simplero?  Go to your Simplero Account > Settings > Integrations > Meta. You’ll see a spot at the top to paste your Meta Pixel ID.   After you paste your Pixel ID, hit Add integration, and you’re done (in Simplero at least). Head to Meta to see the tracking results. Where Do I Get the Pixel in Meta?  Meta moves the Pixel around from time to time, so you might need to check their Documentation. As of this writing, you can find it in Meta’s Event Manager.   There’s a link to your Events Manager in your Simlero account in the spot where you can add your Pixel (mentioned above). Just make sure you're already logged into your Meta business account when you click it.  What Events Are Tracked Automatically?  Simplero tracks:  PageView Purchase / Subscription / StartTrial InitiateCheckout / AddToCart ViewContent CompleteRegistration Lead What does that mean in plain(ish) English?  PageView Fired almost everywhere  Sites  Landing pages - embedded, full, and old-skool Worksheets Purchase order form Purchase thank you page List confirmation page List thank you page Not spaces (which are a deprecated feature - most of you don’t have this) Purchase / Subscription / StartTrial One StartTrial event for the main purchase where the period was free. One Subscription event that will contain details of all the three purchases (id, name, quantity) as well as the total money you paid for these ($39). One Purchase event that will contain the detail of the one-time purchase (the upsell). This too will contain the name of the Product, its id, quantity, and amount ($200). When you complete a purchase, we fire some combination of these three events depending on the type of purchase. For example, if you bought a Product with a free trial (first period is free), three order bumps ($13/per month each), and one upsell (one time for $200), we'll send those events to Meta. InitiateCheckout / AddToCart These events are fired when you visit the Order Form for a Product. They include the same information (Product name, id, default quantity, value of the default price). Both these events are fired with the same information at the same time. ViewContent We currently fire this event on the Product’s sales pages (the main one or additional full landing pages). We send the associated Product’s information (name, category, id) and the page URL. Complete Registration  This is fired when you submit a signup form for a List (on an embedded page/full landing page). We send the List name as the parameter. Lead This event is fired when you successfully confirm your subscription (or if the List doesn't require confirmation). For example, when you get to the thank you page or the content page of the List. This also works across full and embedded landing pages. Conversions API Access Token The Conversions API Access Token (CAPI) will allow us to send events using the Meta Conversions API > Meta guide. Notes: By providing Meta Pixel ID, we will track using the browser. We include user data including but not limited to name, email, and phone when we have it through the Meta Pixel using the browser. If you provide us with both - your Meta Pixel ID and your Conversions API token, we'll track using the browser as well as using the API server-side >> the only difference is that the page view events are not tracked Server side). Your Pixel ID is required in all cases. If you don't provide it, nothing is tracked. Here is a step by step video on how to find the Meta Conversions API Access Token (2025) in Meta. NOTE! The owner of the video mentions that Meta changes their user interface often, so this may be outdated after a while. Testing the Setup If you're going to spend money on ads you have first got to test to ensure everything is working!!  Otherwise, you're flushing money drown the drain.  We recommend the Chrome Meta Pixel Helper plugin. It will show you which (if any) Meta pixel and event codes are installed on a site.  Visit a page, subscribe to a list, create a freebie purchase - do the right Meta pixels appear? If not, something is off. Check your setup!  Note: If you're using an Ad Blocker in your browser, be sure to turn that off! I mean we're testing an ad 😀 Some Other Resources: Custom Meta Pixel Guide Meta Event codes Chrome Meta Pixel Helper plugin GDPR notice for those doing business in the EU: Please keep in mind when using tracking pixels that you are doing so in compliance with GDPR, actions such as these may violate rules in regards to consent and profiling. Should you have a question about compliance, please consult a lawyer.  Verifying Your Domain You only need to verify your domain if: You want to have authority over which conversion events are eligible for your domain. You are an educational organization with an .edu email address. Your email domain doesn’t match your website domain. You want to manage editing permissions for your ads. You must verify your custom domain and sub-domain(s), not Simplero's domain. Domain Verification must be done at the effective top level domain plus one (eTLD+1 ). For example, for www.courses.domain.com, courses.domain.com and domain.com, the eTLD+1 domain is domain.com. To verify the ownership of your domain where the pixel has been installed you will also need to add the verification meta-tag on your site HTML head section on the same admin page: Head to your Business Manager >> Business Settings. Business Settings >> Brand Safety >> Domains. Add >> Add a Domain. Choose Meta Tag Verification. In Simplero, add the Meta Tag to the <head> section in the HTML of the domain home page.  Confirm by visiting your domain home page and open the Source Page View to confirm the meta-tag has been added (right button click on your mouse anywhere on your home page): Scroll down to confirm the meta-tag has been added on the page successfully: Back in Business Manager >> Verify. Be sure to leave the Meta tag in the home page. Assign the Meta page to associate with the verified domain. Meta App ID When using a custom domain and the Meta Integration (for example, sharing buttons on the Site Builder,) you’ll also need to bring your own Meta App ID. If you don’t have one yet, check out Meta developer resources to know where to find it. You’ll go to https://business.facebook.com/ where you’ll see your Business Portfolio which will have an accounts drop down on the navigation that will show 'apps' within that dropdown menu. There will also be a blue +add button on your screen to create a new app: When you click the blue add, you'll then see the screen below where you can select create app: The below screen pop up will show where you can select 'create app': This take you to a screen to select your 'App name’ as well as the contact email address for the app: Once you’ve filled out the app name and contact email, you’ll select next which will ask you your use cases 'what are you wanting to do with it'. You have to select a minimum of one use case but you can select as many are relevant for you: Next you’ll select the ‘business portfolio’ that you want to attach the app to. You can either select one that is already attached to your profile, choose ‘don’t create a business profile right now’, OR create a new business portfolio: Once you have selected your business portfolio option, Meta will show you any requirements that they have for you to be able to get or maintain user and business data. Finally, you’ll get to your overview page which will show you all information that you just filled out with an option to go to your dashboard: Once you’re on your Meta Business dashboard, you’ll be able to see the apps view again but with your new app as well as any additional apps that you may end up adding. You’ll select the relevant app and copy that code to post into your Meta integration in your account: FAQ I do not have a custom domain. Do I need one, or can I use Simplero's? With the latest update on Meta policies, you are required to verify the ownership of your domain to continue sharing your content on Meta. This means you must arrange your own custom domain and follow the instructions above to verify it. More info on Meta’s Domain Verification and Best Practices for Domain Verification articles. Does Simplero Integration Cover CAPI? Yes, it does! What if the sales from my landing page aren't recording in Meta Ads Manager? If sales are showing up as Registrations and not Sales in your Ads Manager, or the Purchase Value isn’t recording in there either, here are some things to check: Make sure your Meta Pixel is installed correctly. Our instructions above show how to do this, and this guide from Meta shows the different ways to configure the pixel. Download the Chrome Meta Pixel Helper and install it on your browser (if using Chrome). Now run it while visiting your page and clicking your CTA buttons, just to see if it reports any issues! Check what your Pixel Manager says when you try to complete the action you want record (like checking out on the order form page). Then click the “Troubleshoot Pixel” option on the Chrome Meta Pixel Helper to see what it says for both these instances: Check whether the Thank You Page for your product is inside of a closed site. If so, try adding a public Thank You page to the product instead. What is the difference between Meta App ID (in the integration settings) and Facebook App/Page ID (in the site configure page)? Meta App ID (Found under settings -> Integrations): This refers to the Meta App that you created in Meta for Developers (https://developers.facebook.com/). It’s the core integration app that connects your entire Simplero account to Meta’s APIs — this is the one used for things like analytics, conversions tracking, pixel data, and general Meta Business integration. This is a global integration for all sites in your Simplero account Facebook App ID (Found under each site's configure page): This is for site-specific social features and behavior when content is shared or interacted with on Facebook. Each site in Simplero can optionally have its own Facebook App ID, which is used specifically for site-level social sharing features, like: Social login (e.g., “Log in with Facebook”), Facebook comments plugin, Open Graph metadata (for correct preview thumbnails and titles when links are shared), and Site-specific tracking if you want each site to be treated as a separate app within Meta. The Page ID (Found under each site's configure page): This is about displaying content from your Business Facebook Page on your site, through a widget or plugin. It’s used for business identity and connection to Meta tools, not for API access or app-level features. Even with the Meta integration active (for analytics, pixel, conversions), you still need the Page ID if you want your site to show your Facebook Page feed or use social widgets. The summary table below can be helpful: Type Scope Purpose Where It Comes From Meta App ID Global (Simplero account level) Connects Simplero to Meta Business tools (analytics, ads) Meta for Developers (your Meta Business app) Facebook App ID Per-site Enables Facebook features like login, comments, sharing Meta for Developers Facebook Page ID Per-site Identifies your actual Facebook Page for linking, chat, and attribution Your Facebook Page (found under “About” → “Page ID”)

Facebook Messenger Chat
Setup Facebook Messenger Chat on a Site or Membership Site Would you like to be able to chat with your customers in real time? Perhaps you want to offer prospective customers and/or existing members this option for interaction with you. Facebook Messenger is one of the services that will enable you to do so. This guide will explain how to find and use the code that will enable a customer to start a chat with you on your Simplero site or membership site using Facebook Messenger. Here's how to set that up Go to your Facebook business page Select the Settings Messenger Platform  Scroll down or jump to the Messenger Chat Section and then click the Setup button Follow the 3 steps in the guide that appears. You can customize the welcome text and add your brand colors if you so choose.  In step 3, add the URL for the Simplero Site or Membership Site that you want to use the Chat on.  (If you have your own domain, you'll need to add both URLs, your domain one and yoursimpleroaccount.simplero.com URL). If you want to use it on both a Simplero Site and a Simplero Membership Site, you need to enter both URLs on Facebook. Save and then copy the code.  Really make sure you've saved - you'll see a green 'Saved Successfully' message once it works. It's a little touchy... Go back to your Simplero Site or Membership Site and select the Configure tab Scroll down to the Advanced section and paste your code into the 'Custom tracking HTML code for body' area Click the Save changes and you're done! The Chat button will now appear on all of the pages of your Site or Membership Site.  P.S. Facebook changes their services frequently and this may change without us realizing it. You've been warned! Can't see the Messenger Chat yet? Make sure your browser doesn't have any AdBlockers installed!

Embed Your Google Docs, Sheets, and Slides into Simplero
It is possible to embed your Google docs, sheets, or slides into your Simplero course content. However, since updates to this feature are mostly controlled by the Google Doc team, you'll find the best answers to this question on their support page here. Here are just a few ways you can use this integration: Embed your slides into a course lesson Include the webinar slide deck on the replay's landing page Share spreadsheet tables and graphs on a site's page Add value to your courses by providing a document template  Embed a Google Doc into your Course Open a file in Google Docs, Sheets, or Slides. At the top, click File  Share  Publish to the web. In the window that appears, click Embed. Choose a publishing option: Spreadsheet (on Sheets): Choose to publish the entire spreadsheet or individual sheets. Presentation (on Slides): Choose a presentation size and how quickly to change the slides. Click Publish. Within the course editor in Simplero (or the text section where you want to embed), hit the <> button to view source code and then paste in the copied HTML. NOTE! Make sure you’re in the Legacy Editor to see the source code! Share a *Copy* of a Google Doc/Spreadsheet Sometimes you want to share access to a Google doc, but don't want to give access to edit the original Google doc. For this, you'll want a link that automatically prompts them to "make a copy" of the file. To do this, follow these instructions: With any Google Drive file open, select File Share  Share with Others Ensure share settings are on for "Anyone with the link can edit" before selecting Copy: Insert this new link anywhere you'd like within Simplero, making sure to replace the final bit of the URL "/edit?usp=sharing" with "/copy" For example:  If the original link was: https://docs.google.com/document/d/secretcode/edit?usp=sharing  The copy version of the link would be: https://docs.google.com/document/d/secretcode/copy Anyone who clicks on that modified link is presented with a prompt asking if they'd like to make a copy of this document! Insert this modified link anywhere in Simplero for your customers. Tada! 🪄

Use Merge Fields to Register a Subscriber for a Webinar
Have you ever wanted to sign up your webinar attendees for your webinar by using Simplero instead of using the webinar provider's sign up function? There could be several reasons for wanting this: You're running a webinar launch with affiliates and want to be able to track the affiliation when they sign up for the webinar. This can be really difficult using 3rd party sign-ups. You want to track their GDPR consent using Simplero’s functions. You don't want to have to use and pay for yet another piece of software (like Zapier) to move them to Simplero after they sign up for the webinar. We now have a solution that will make it possible to sign up your registrants on a Simplero list and add them to the webinar at the same time!  You need the one-click code from your webinar provider. If you're using WebinarJam, Go to your WebinarJam dashboard Select the Advanced settings for the webinar you want Select the one-click registration option and copy the code.  This will give you code like this:   Edit the code to use the Simplero merge fields codes:   You want it to look like this:  Now, Create a list in Simplero for the webinar (remember to set your preferred GDPR and double opt-in confirmation settings). You probably want the webinar program to send the pre-webinar mails. If not, set up your auto responses in Simplero.  Then make an awesome sign-up form!  After that, Select Contacts from your Simplero Dashboard Select the Lists tab Select the List you've created for your Webinar Select the Content tab Scroll down to the Custom Pages section Paste in the edited one-click URL you copied from your webinar provider in the Custom 'you have successfully subscribed' page area Click the blue Save changes button Success! When someone signs up to this list using your Simplero sign up page, they will be taken to the webinar one-click registration page as their thank you page. Simplero will fill in their name and email information, so the webinar provider can add them to your webinar registration list.

Google Tag Manager
This integration allows you to effortlessly manage your website's tracking and analytics without the need for complex coding.  Adding the GTM integration Instead of manually adding the GTM code on the Tracking page, Simplero offers a convenient integration with GTM. With this integration, you simply need to provide your GTM Container ID to Simplero, and it will automatically place the necessary code in the appropriate locations. Simply go to your settings - Integrations and click on Add Google Tag Manager Integration: Then add your container ID (You can find it on your Google Tag Manager home page.): Done! Simplified Cookie Consent Handling One of the advantages of using Simplero's GTM integration is that it handles cookie consent for you. Cookie consent refers to the permission required from users to store and access their personal data through cookies on your website. Simplero's integration ensures that your website complies with cookie consent regulations without any additional effort on your part. "Only Run on User Interaction" Setting Simplero's GTM integration also offers a useful setting called "Only run on user interaction." This setting can help improve your website's PageSpeed scores. PageSpeed is a measure of how quickly your website loads and performs. By enabling this option, the GTM code will only be triggered when a user interacts with your website, reducing unnecessary code execution and improving your website's overall performance. GTM Events Tracked by Simplero Do you want to know the technical details on what exactly Simplero sends to GTM? Here you go: E-commerce Events (GA4 Standard) view_item - Product page viewed - Parameters: - items: Array of item objects begin_checkout - Checkout process started - Parameters: - ecommerce.items: Array of item objects purchase - Purchase completed - Parameters: - transaction_id: Purchase ID (string) - affiliation: Account name - value: Total purchase value (number) - currency: Currency code (string) - tax: Tax amount (number) - shipping: Shipping amount (number) - items: Array of item objects Item Object Structure { id: id.to_s, sku: id.to_s, name: name,  price: price, quantity: quantity } What's Sent - id - Product ID as string - sku - Same as id - name - Product name - price - Unit price (number, optional) - quantity - Quantity (number, optional) What if I prefer manually adding the code? Note: This is not necessary if using the integration!  First, set up your GTM account at https://tagmanager.google.com/. Here's a good tutorial on that.  After setting up GTM, you'll see the installation code that looks like this: Back in the Simplero admin, under Settings >> Tracking >> Global tracking code  - you'll find the spot to paste both of those sections of code.  After saving, GTM will be successfully installed on your Simplero website.  Note: If you are having issues with your tag manager integration, there is an extension called Tag Assistant by Google that helps you detect and solve issues Happy tracking!

How to connect Apple Calendar to my scheduling links
You can now use Apple Calendar (iCloud) as your scheduling calendar in Simplero. When someone books through a scheduling link, Simplero will automatically create, update, and remove events in your iCloud calendar — so your schedule always stays in sync. This works the same way Google Calendar and Microsoft Calendar integrations do: booking events appear directly in the calendar you choose. Before you start You'll need: An Apple ID (the one you use for iCloud) An App-Specific Password — Apple requires this for third-party apps to connect to your iCloud account How to generate an App-Specific Password Go to appleid.apple.com Sign in with your Apple ID Under Security, find App-Specific Passwords Click Generate and give it a name (e.g. "Simplero") Copy the password — you'll need it in the next step How to connect Apple Calendar in Simplero Go to Settings → Simplero Labs → turn on the feature flag for Apple Calendar NOTE: This feature is in beta mode for now. Once it’s fully released, you won’t need to enable it under Simplero Labs and can skip this step. Go to Settings → Integrations → Apple Calendar and you’ll see it as an option Click + Connect Enter your Apple ID and the App-Specific Password you just generated Save Once connected, your Apple calendars will appear in the Calendar dropdown on any scheduling link — just like Google or Microsoft calendars do. Using it on a scheduling link Open or create a Scheduling link In the Calendar dropdown, pick the Apple calendar you want bookings to appear in All new bookings will now show up directly in that Apple Calendar Simplero handles the rest — when bookings are made, rescheduled, or cancelled, your Apple Calendar updates automatically. Good to know This integration writes events to your Apple Calendar. It's different from the iCal overlay, which only checks your calendar for conflicts without adding events. You need one App-Specific Password per connection. If you disconnect and reconnect, generate a new one.

Connecting Simplero to Dinero
Send your Simplero sales straight to Dinero and stop re-entering them. Every paid charge lands in your Dinero kassekladde (cash journal) as a draft entry, ready for you or your accountant to review and book — with the Simplero invoice PDF attached as the bilag (voucher). What the integration does Each paid charge (sale) is pushed to Dinero as a draft ledger item in the kassekladde, with the Simplero invoice PDF attached. Refunds are pushed as their own entry automatically (a refund appears in the kassekladde with the opposite sign). Everything stays a draft — Simplero never books anything in Dinero. You or your accountant review and book the entries. Each charge is pushed once, ever — the integration is idempotent, so you'll never get duplicate entries. Requirements A Dinero account with the organization (company) you want entries to go to. Step 1: Connect your Dinero account Go to Settings → Integrations. Find Dinero and click Connect. Authorize Simplero in Dinero, then choose which Dinero organization your entries should post to. If you just created a new organization or account in Dinero and it doesn't show up yet, use Refresh organization & accounts. Step 2: Choose where entries post You can leave the mapping empty and fill it in when you do your accounting — but pointing entries at the right accounts makes the kassekladde usable right away: Revenue account — the sales account entries post to. The picker shows accounts in the standard revenue range (1000–1999). Only accounts in that range are shown. Deposit account per payment processor — each of your payment processors (Stripe, QuickPay, etc.) can map to its own bank/deposit account, so money from different processors lands in the right place. Only accounts in the deposit range (50000–55999) are shown. VAT — follows your Dinero organization's tax setting: automatic classification per sale (e.g. 25% Danish VAT → U25), a fixed VAT code, or no VAT. Description template (optional) — the text on each kassekladde line. Default: - . You can personalize it with product, price, transaction, or payment details. Leave it blank to use the standard line. Step 3: Sync charges Automatically — turn on "Automatically sync future paid charges to Dinero", and every charge that becomes paid is pushed by itself. Manually — open any paid invoice and use the Sync to Dinero action to push it whenever you like. Notes & limitations Drafts only. Nothing is auto-booked — entries stay in the kassekladde as drafts for you or your accountant to approve. No per-product account mapping in Simplero. If you need different accounts per product, set that up on Dinero's side (manual account number on the Dinero product). The kassekladde sign is inverted vs. standard accounting: income shows as negative, refunds/money-out as positive. That's normal for the cash journal. One push per charge. Once a charge has been synced it can't be re-pushed, so a correction in Simplero won't touch the amount already sitting in Dinero. Reconciling with your bank: amounts in the kassekladde may not exactly match your bank statement over a given period. Payment providers like Nets let Dankort transactions through 1:1 but bundle Visa/Mastercard transactions and their fees — so the difference is processor settlement, not the integration. Reconcile against the processor's settlement, not raw bank movements. Troubleshooting Problem What to do New Dinero org/account doesn't appear Click Refresh organization & accounts on the integration My account isn't in the dropdown Only standard revenue (1000–1999) and deposit (50000–55999) accounts are shown Duplicate entries in the kassekladde Shouldn't happen — each charge is pushed exactly once Refunds missing Refunds are negative charges and get their own kassekladde row For the Danish guide, please visit this page.
