How to Integrate Simplero with Mailchimp

Why use the Mailchimp Integration?

Some people like their MailChimp. Who are we to stop them?

Specifically, MailChimp has a much fancier graphical email editor than Simplero, because we believe in simplicity, and we know that more plain-looking emails actually convert better, meaning people click and buy more.

If you integrate your MailChimp with Simplero, you can:

• Automatically add everyone who purchases from you (for any of your Simplero products) and wants marketing to your Mailchimp house  list
• Link a specific Mailchimp listto each Simplero product
• Use triggers and automation stepsto subscribe your customers to your Mailchimp lists

Add your MailChimp Integration

1. Select Settings - Integrations
   
2. Scroll down to the MailChimp Integration section
3. Click +Add 
4. Add your MailChimp API Key (you will find this in your Mailchimp account)
   
   
   
5. Choose which list in Mailchimp your customers will be added to.
   By default, everyone who purchases from you and checks the marketing box will be added to this list. We sign up for both the Simplero main list and Mailchimp, if both are defined.
   
   
6. Save changes

Subscribing all participants of one specific product to a Mailchimp list

Before you do this, make sure you have added your integration.

1. Go to the Product you want
2. Choose Settings - Options
3. Scroll down to find Mailchimp Integration.
4. Choose your Mailchimp list from the dropdown. 
   
   
   

When you do this, each participant will automatically be added to this list, and if they cancel or fail to pay on time, they're automatically removed too.

After you have added the integration, you will get the option of subscribing to or unsubscribing from MailChimp lists in all your Simplero triggers and automations, which in turn lets you do a bunch more cool stuff.
