Credits are a simple way to sell services in advance and keep track of when they’re delivered.
Think of them like prepaid tokens for something you offer — coaching sessions, events, classes, appointments, support calls, or anything else you provide in person or online.
A customer buys a package that includes a certain number of credits. Each time they use one of your services, a credit is used. That way, you always know how many sessions they’ve purchased and how many they have left.
You will be able to create a credit, sell it in a product, or issue it automatically.
Make sure:
Credits are enabled in your Simplero account -> Go to +More and turn on Credits
Other options:
Go to Content -> Credits
Click + Add a new type of Credit
Fill in the fields:
Name — Example: Coaching Session
Description — Explain what the credit is used for
Optional - Add an Expiration — Set when the credit expires
Click Create credit

Go to Sales → Products
Choose the Product Wizard
Select Credit as the product type
Enter:
Done! You can now share the order form link to start selling credits!
Would you like to offer a subscription where your customers get granted a certain number of credits every period?
A subscription price will be automatically renewed, granting the set number of credits on each renewal.
You can create additional pricing tiers for the same product.
Example:
| Quantity | Price per Credit |
|---|---|
| 1–4 credits | $100 |
| 5+ credits | $85 |
Customers can choose the quantity, and Simplero will apply the correct price. To do this:
Enter the discounted price per credit

Done! On your order form, they will be able to choose how many credits they want, and the system will show them the applicable price per credit, considering the discount
Credits can also be issued using Triggers or Automation Steps. This allows you to grant credits automatically when a specific action occurs. To use a trigger:

In an automation, add a step and choose Issue Credits:

Go to Contacts -> Contacts
Locate and select your customer
In the Contact Info screen, scroll down to the Credits section
Click the Issue credits hyperlink
The credits option is not visible
Check that Credits are enabled in the More menu
Customer has no credits available
Confirm they purchased a product that issues credits
Check if the credits have expired
Wrong credit amount consumed
Open the contact record and review their credit activity
The customer didn’t receive credits after the purchase
Confirm the credit type is attached to the product
