To configure your own domain to be the main domain for your Simplero account when using GoDaddy, you first have to decide whether you want to use a subdomain of your own domain (e.g. shop.mydomain.com) or the main domain (www.mydomain.com). Then, follow these steps:
Type: CNAME
Host: www (or shop or whatever your subdomain is if you're using a subdomain, as per the instructions above)
Points to: yourname.simplero.com (the note we took in step 5)
TTL: 1 hour
If done correctly, it will look something like this:
Scroll down past the list of DNS records to where there is a box on the right-hand side with the headline Forwarding
Under Domain, click add or edit forwarding and fill in following:
Choice between http:// and https://: you can pick https:// if you want to, we support that
Address: www.yourdomain.com
Forward type: Permanent (301)
Settings: Forward only
Update my nameservers and DNS settings to support this change: yes
If done correctly, it will look something like this:
Click Save, and you should be all done.
That's it. Your Simplero account is now on your own domain
