Sign-up Forms on Your Simplero Site

Signup forms, also known as Opt-in forms, are an important way to get people on your mailing list. This is because you want to start building a relationship with them and nurture these relationships until they become a customer. 

Embedded Modal or Slide-in signup forms

This option allows you to choose any of your Embedded signup forms that are set to Modal or Slide-in in the Presentation section and add them to your site without using the Easy Embed Code

  1. Create your Embedded opt-in form
    • Select Lists & Contacts from your Simplero Dashboard
    • Select the Lists tab
    • Select the list you want to create the opt-in for
    • Select on the Signup forms tab
    • Click the blue +Create a new signup form button in the middle or in the upper right corner of the page

    • Select the Embedded type for the signup form

    • Select your template 
      Choose_embedded_template
    • Once you've selected your template, you will be taken to the screen where you can edit the Content and Settings, and see the Embed code in Fields section of your signup form
    • In the Content tab, you can edit the form design such as the color for TextBackgroundButton, and Accent
    • Make sure to click the blue Save changes button

    • Select the Settings tab for your opt-in and complete all boxes. (Name, Presentation, How it can be viewed, when it can be viewed, etc.)
    • Scroll to the second section called Presentation
    • Select the Modal or Slide-in option

    • Make sure to click the blue Save changes button
  2. Select Site from your Simplero Dashboard
  3. Select the Configure tab
  4. Scroll down to the Signup forms section
  5. Select the white + Add signup form button

  6. Click the drop-down menu and choose the opt-in form from your list

  7. Then click the blue Save changes button

Inline Embedded Signup Forms

This option allows for a signup form to always be visible on your site. 
  1. Create your embedded opt-in form
    • Select Lists & Contacts from your Simplero Dashboard
    • Select the Lists tab
    • Select the list you want to create the opt-in for
    • Select on the Signup forms tab
    • Click the blue +Create a new signup form button in the middle or in the upper right corner of the page

    • Select the Embedded type for the signup form

    • Select your template

    • Once you've selected your template, you will be taken to the screen where you can edit the Content and Settings, and see the Embed code in Fields section of your signup form
    • In the Content tab, you can edit the form design such as the color for TextBackgroundButton, and Accent
    • Make sure to click the blue Save changes button

    • In the Presentation section, select the Inline option

  2. Click the Share tab and copy the Easy Embed Code

  3. Paste this code in a text box on any page in your site

Full page Signup forms

This allows you to have full page signup forms as a page on your membership site. 

  1. Create your sign-up form using the Full page option
    • Select Lists & Contacts from your Simplero Dashboard
    • Select the Lists tab
    • Select the list you want to create the opt-in for
    • Select on the Signup forms tab
    • Click the blue +Create a new signup form button in the middle or in the upper right corner of the page

    • Select the Full page type for the signup form

    • Select your template

    • Once you've selected your template, you will be taken to the screen where you can edit the Content and Settings, and see the Embed code in Fields section of your signup form
    • Click the Share tab
    • Copy the URL link

  2. Open your Membership site
    • Select Content from your Simplero Dashboard
    • Select the Membership sites tab
    • Select a page from your Membership sites
    • Select the Pages tab from the Summary menu

    • Click the blue Launch Editor button in the upper right corner

    • You will be directed to the editor interface
    • Click the white + Add button

    • A pop-up screen will appear with different options, choose the one that says External link

    • Paste the URL link of the signup form or landing page you've just created
    • Give it a Label in navigation and click the blue + Add button

Designing a Sales page on your site directly 

Some people prefer to design their own sales or list opt-in page and not use a standalone sales page. This is easy to do on your site by creating a content page and adding a call to action button to it wherever you desire. 

Open your Membership site

  1. Select Content from your Simplero Dashboard
  2. Select the Membership sites tab
  3. Select a page from your Membership sites
  4. Select the Pages tab from the Summary menu

  5. Click the blue Launch Editor button in the upper right corner

  6. You will be directed to the editor interface
  7. Click the white + Add button

  8. A pop-up screen will appear with different options, choose the one that says Page (Content page with sections)

  9. Enter a Title for this new page and click the blue + Add button
  10. Select the tab for the page you've just created or click the blue Edit button on the new page you've just created

  11. Click the blue +Add section for the page you've just created

  12. Choose Buttons as the section you are adding and click the blue Add button

  13. Determine the button's appearance

  14. Scroll down to the Content section and click the Button tab

  15. Give it a Label 
  16. In the Link field, paste in the link of where you want them to go or choose one of the options from inside your Simplero account such as a Product order form
  17. Click the blue Save changes button
