How To Guides- Lesson1
Get Started with your Branded App
Launch your own branded mobile app with Simplero — your brand, your icon, your name in the App Store and Google Play. Before we dive in, let's clarify what you're building and how it relates to the Simplero Mobile App. The Simplero Mobile App The Simplero Mobile App is the free app available to all Simplero customers and their members. It's published under the Simplero brand and gives your members access to: Courses and lessons Favorites, Playlists, Bookmarks Transcripts and Private Notes Forum and Feed Site pages, Calendar, and Sales pages Quizzes Your members download the Simplero app, log in, and see all the sites they have access to — across all Simplero creators. Your Whitelabel (Branded) App A Whitelabel App is your own app — published under your brand name with your icon in the App Store and Google Play. Your members download your app instead of the Simplero app. They only see your content. Same powerful features, fully branded experience. Key differences: Simplero Mobile App Whitelabel App Brand Simplero Your brand App Store listing Simplero's Yours Icon & splash screen Simplero's Yours Content visible All creators the member follows Only your content Developer accounts needed None Apple + Google Cost Included in your plan Requires your own Developer accounts ($99/yr Apple, $25 one-time Google). +$99/month on Skyrocket. +$199/month on Starter and Scale. What you'll need before starting Setting up a branded app involves a few external accounts and configurations. Here's the high-level process: Get a D.U.N.S. number — A free unique business identifier required by both Apple and Google. This can take a few weeks, so start here first. Set up your Apple Developer Account (for iOS) Set up your Google Developer Account (for Android) — including Google Cloud Console and Firebase Add your Branded App in Simplero — Upload your assets (icons, splash screens, screenshots) and app details Pay the branded app add-on — Once you’ve created the App in your Simplero account, click on +Buy now to activate your branded mobile app. Complete the Branded App Checklist (see below) Each of these steps has its own dedicated lesson in this course. Ready? Start with the next lesson: D.U.N.S. number — especially if you don't have one yet, since it's the longest wait in the process. Let's get your app out there. 🚀

You’ll need a D.U.N.S. number BEFORE signing up for a Google and Apple Developer Accounts. It can take a few weeks to get it set up so we highly recommend requesting your D.U.N.S. if you don’t have one yet, before starting the Simplero Whitelabel App process. For the D-U-N-S application, you will need: The legal name of your business. Your business address (If you have multiple locations, you will need to apply for a separate D-U-N-S Number for each location). Contact information for your business including a main telephone number. The name of the business owner, president, or CEO. The legal structure of your business. The year your business was created. The primary business industry. The total number of full- and part-time employees. Obtaining a D-U-N-S Number is free. To begin the application process visit https://www.dnb.com/duns/get-a-duns.html.
