D.U.N.S. number

A DUNS number (short for Data Universal Numbering System) is a unique 9-digit identifier assigned to businesses by the company Dun & Bradstreet.

Learn more about on their official site.

You’ll need a D.U.N.S. number BEFORE signing up for a Google and Apple Developer Accounts.

It can take a few weeks to get it set up so we highly recommend requesting your D.U.N.S. if you don’t have one yet, before starting the Simplero Whitelabel App process.

For the D-U-N-S application, you will need:

  • The legal name of your business.

  • Your business address (If you have multiple locations, you will need to apply for a separate D-U-N-S Number for each location).

  • Contact information for your business including a main telephone number.

  • The name of the business owner, president, or CEO.

  • The legal structure of your business.

  • The year your business was created.

  • The primary business industry.

  • The total number of full- and part-time employees.

Obtaining a D-U-N-S Number is free.
