In this lesson... Show an Opt-in Form in All pages of a Simplero Site Embed an Opt-in Form on a Simplero Page Embed a Manually-Triggered Opt-In to a Button (Legacy Builder Only) If you prefer to watch this on a video, you can head to our How To Videos, where this is explained in minute 11:20. [Legacy Builder] Adding Call to Action Buttons to Turn a Site Page Into a Sales or Opt-in Page
Adding Call to Action Buttons to Turn a Site Page Into a Sales or Opt-in Page Some people prefer to design their own sales or list opt-in page on their Simplero site directly, instead of using a standalone sales page. This is easy to do by creating a content page and adding a call to action button to it wherever you want.  NOTE! This guide shows how to add a button to pages that use our Legacy builder, which is a deprecated feature. To add buttons to a page that uses our 2.0 builder, head to this guide. Once you've created the content page, here's how to add the Call to Action button: Option 1: Select Marketing from your Simplero Dashboard. Choose Main website from the dropdown menu. Select the Pages tab. Click the blue Editor pencil button next to the page you want to edit. You'll be redirected to the edit interface screen. In the Sections tab, select the blue + Add section tab: In the Content options menu, select the Buttons tab and click the blue Add button:   Determine the Appearance of the Button: In the Content section, click on Button: Enter a Label for your button (e.g., "Click Here to Sign Up!"). Enter the link you want to send users to (this could be a product sales page, order form, list opt-in, online scheduler, wherever you want them to end up). Select the blue Save changes button. Option 2: Select Marketing from your Simplero Dashboard. Choose Main website from the dropdown menu. Select the Pages tab. Click the blue Editor pencil button next to the page you want to edit. You'll be redirected to the edit interface screen. In the Sections tab, select the blue + Add section tab:   In the Content options menu, select the Text tab and click the blue Add button:   Write out the Label for your button (e.g., "Click Here to Sign Up!"). Highlight the text and click on the Insert Link icon in the Text Editor:   Add the Link for the button under URL, or choose it from the dropdown menu. Check Display as button. Check Open in a new window (optional). Hit the Insert button to save your changes: NOTE! If you don't put a link into the URL section, the button will not be created. If you don't have a link yet but still want to create the button, you can click on the URL section and choose your homepage from the dropdown menu. Then you can go back and add the correct link later.

[Legacy Builder] Events Calendar or Events List on Your Page
Important! This manual is for pages built with our Legacy builder. To learn how to do this with our new builder, head to this manual By creating a calendar or list, you can easily show all your upcoming events at a glance. For example, if you are a coach and you want to have a coaching call calendar. Or you want to show all the live events you are doing in the next couple of months. Or if you want your members to have a calendar with all the upcoming webinars that they can join. Any of this can be shown in a very visual and simple way! This is what the Events Calendar looks like: This is what the events list looks like: Pro Tip: Be sure to check out our Mastering Events in Simplero Workshop where our experst do a deep-dive into setting up events in Simplero. Creating an Events Calendar 1. Create your Events (Check our Basic Events Guide if you want to know how!) 2. Go to the page where you want to add your calendar or create a new one 3. Add a new section and search for ‘Events calendar’ 4. Once added, you will see some options to personalize it on the left-hand side: How many weeks should we show? Only show events with this label - This is very handy if you only want to show some events. For example, if you are a coach and you want to only show your public events. You will need to first label the events that you want to show (check how labels work in this manual) and choose that label on this setting. This allows you to have two different calendars that show different events depending on the label they have been given. It could be handy for academies that have more than one cohort or if you want to create a calendar on your public site different than the calendar on your membership site.  Don’t add a scrollbar when the calendar gets too long - If ticked, long calendars will show as many weeks as you selected without a scrollbar. If unticked, we will add a scrollbar so it doesn’t take up that much space on the page. Other appearance settings - Width, style, background image, background video, background overlay color, custom heading color Make calendar transparent - Not recommended but might be useful for some layouts Creating an Events List 1. Create your Events (Check our Basic Events Guide if you want to know how!) 2. Go to the page where you want to add your calendar or create a new one 3. Add a new section and search for ‘Events list’ 4. Once added, you will see some options to personalize it on the left-hand side: Show Zoom events that don't have a fixed time Limit the number of events shown - This will give you three options: Only show a fixed number of events - If selected, it will prompt you to select the number of events Only show events in the duration I specify - If selected, it will prompt you to choose the duration Show all events Other appearance settings - Width, padding, style, background image, background video, background overlay color, custom heading color Make the event box transparent

[Legacy Builder and Sites] Brand colours and Legacy Style guide (deprecated)
With the implementation of the new experience and style guides, Brand colors located under the Logos page have become deprecated. This help guide gives details on how the transition happened and how to manage colors if you are still seeing Brand colors in your Logos page. If you are seeing the section Brand colors on your Logos page, it means you are also using the Legacy Style guide (we added it for you to help transition to style guides). Brand colors are no longer used across your account, so you can pretty much ignore them moving forward. Instead, there's a Legacy Style guide located in your Style guides page. Color changes in the Legacy style guide will affect and will be seen in the following system pages as long as they don't belong to a site which has it's own style guide: Broadcasts buttons Worksheets Color changes in the Default account Style guide will affect and will be seen in the following system pages as long as they don't belong to a site which has it's own style guide: Support widget  Events pages If you rename or delete the Legacy style guide, we will switch to using your account default style guide instead. The Brand colors section under the Logos page will also disappear. We highly recommend that when you are ready, you check your Default Account Style guide is set with your brand colors. Once updated, delete the Legacy Style guide to avoid further confusion. New sites will be using your default style guides instead. FAQ Is the Legacy style guide the default style guide used in the text editor? Or is there a specific place they can see that and edit it? The style guide used in the text editor is the site or default style guide, not the Legacy. ETA for when themes and legacy pages will be replaced or phased out?  There's no ETA yet, but we will phase out legacy pages and themes eventually with plenty of notice. Any coming changes to which colors system pages will include that can be changed by the member? We are considering making email templates also linked to style guides. What is the use-case for the ‘Inherit’ option when using a Style Guide theme It means it will use the theme selected for the higher node. For example if you pick Inherit theme on a column, it means it will use the Row theme. What do themes mean in the context of style guide colors? They are just pre-made sets generated from your color palette so it's easier for you to pick a set design of colors. If you don't like any of the pre-set themes you can customize your own. How do you update the colors on an order form so the checkout button and the checkbox color are different? The order form uses the site style guide. If the order form is not linked to any site, then it uses the Main website style guide. This might change in the future, and we might use the account default style guide instead. It's confusing that blogs aren't on the new site experience / don't use style guides. Any updates as to when this will change?  It is on the roadmap. We don't have an ETA yet. I still have site pages on the Legacy builder. Where are colors pulling up from those? The use the site theme colors. See this Themes guide for details.

[Legacy Builder] How to Create Anchor Links
Anchor links allow you to setup a link that links to a particular part or item on a page.  We've setup this link to be an anchor link that goes to the header at the very bottom of this guide.  Here’s how you can do it using the Text Editor on a Page in the Legacy Builder: First we need to find a Text section on the website you're editing. Hover over the section and click the Bookmark icon: An Anchor box will pop up where you can decide the Id for this Anchor. You can call the ID whatever you want. For this one, I’ll call it kristina and press the blue Ok button: You’ll see a small grey dot appear next to the Text after this: Next, find the Button or Text you want to hyperlink to this section. So when they click it, they jump down to the section! Once you've found it, highlight the text and press the Link icon in the Editor (if the link or button is created via the Editor): The Insert a link menu will pop up. Click on the white bar underneath URL and select On Page Items: Now select your Anchor Id from the options below to choose the section you’re anchoring to: Now the Button or Link will jump down to the section you anchored it to! NOTE! If the Button was added to an existing section under the Content tab, or added via a Button section, click on the section and scroll down to Content on the white column to the left of the page. Then click the white bar under Link and type your Anchor ID with a hashtag in front of it. Using our example, it’ll look like this: #kristina The other option is to select On page items and just choose the section on the page you want to jump down to: Now the Button will jump down to the section you anchored it to! Link to an Anchored Section on a Different Page Wherever you Insert a link, add the URL to the page you want to send them to and then add a Hashtag at the end with the Anchor ID to the section where you added the anchor: https://www.yourpageurl.com/home/#anchorID The link will now take you to the page you've linked to and automatically scroll down to where the anchor is! Here is how to do it via the source code: First you need to identify the part of the page we want to link to. Click the <> icon to open the Source Code (in the Legacy editor): Give the element an ID. For example id="danish" (you can use any word you like instead of 'danish'). You need to make sure the id="danish" section is added to the code in the following format: <a id="danish"></a> (see screenshot below) You'll also want to add <a id="danish"></a> to the Source Code directly to the left of the text you want to link to on the page: Click OK and Save your changes. You are now able to visit your anchor link URL by adding a # and the word you chose to the end of the link. So now hyperlink the element you want to be a link.  In the URL field put the page you want to link to followed by the # symbol and your ID: If the anchor link is on the same page, you can just put the # symbol and the ID.

[Legacy Builder] Site Pages
Which page should you pick? NOTE! If the New Community Experience is turned on for your site, please follow this guide to add 2.0 Pages, Webbooks, Courses, etc. to the navigation menu. This guide shows you how to add them to a site using the old experience. Each of these pages has different options and uses. Let's take a closer look at each one: Pages - Allows you to design a web page on your membership site. This could be a simple content page such as a welcome page, it could include testimonials of people who have taken the course before or a letter from you. It could even include a course catalog so your customers can quickly get to the course they want to access. You can also use the pages feature to create a sales page to up-sell members to other products that exist within this membership site or outside it.  Webbook - Structure long pieces of content. Use the Text section to add headings and paragraphs, then enable the option to Auto-generate a table of contents to be displayed on a left sidebar. Favourites - Course lessons can be saved as favourite by your members. Add a Favourites page they can easily reach to see their favourite content. Blog/Forum - Here is where you would give access to the blog or forum that you’ve been working on in the back end of your membership site. Group - If you have segmented forums you can link them using the Groups page. Learn more about Forum groups on this help guide. Member Directory - Here is where you can let members see each other. Members are anyone who has access to the membership site for any reason. External Link - This is a great way to link to an outside sales page, a Facebook group, a scheduling calendar, etc. Basically, anything you can find on the interweb that isn't created on your membership site.  Terms and Conditions - This will link to the terms and conditions set up in your Account Settings. Customer Service - When this is added a link will exist in the heading menu that will allow the members of your membership site to email you at the email address you set in your account settings for support.  Once you have decided on the page you want to add, below are step by step instructions for managing that page.  NOTE! You must have at least one published, non-hidden page on a membership site to serve as the home page for the site.  Otherwise, your members will not be able to access the site.  You can check out our demo membership site right here! Adding a page Select Content from your Simplero Dashboard Choose Membership Sites from the drop down menu Select the Membership Site you want to add pages to Select the Pages tab Click the Edit menu & pages button in the top right corner: You will be directed to the site editor page. Click the + Add button to add a page In the pop-up screen, choose your page option, add title and click the + Add button: To add a subpage, simply select the + sign next to what will be the mother page and then follow step 7 to add a page and customise the title:  Editing an Existing Page Select Content from your Simplero Dashboard Choose Membership Sites from the dropdown menu Select the Membership Site you want to add pages to Select the Pages tab Click the page name or the Edit button on the far right: You will be redirected to the Editor screen.  In the Sections tab, you can add or delete sections, move the sections around, or edit the contents in them. Make sure to click the Save changes button: In the Settings tab, you can change the page name, URL, and publish status. Make sure to click the Save changes button: Removing a page Select Content from your Simplero Dashboard Select Membership Sites from the dropdown menu Select the Membership Site you want to add pages to Select the Pages tab There are three ways to remove a page: Click on the Page name or the Editor button next to the page you want to remove and you'll be redirected to the Editor screen In the bottom left corner, click the Trashcan Delete page hyperlink and click OK to confirm your action to delete          Mark the box next to the Editor button and the Page name, click the Select action...drop-down arrow, select the Delete... option, and click OK to confirm your action to delete:    OR Mark the box next to the Editor button and the Page name, click the Trashcan icon and click OK to confirm your action to delete What if I want to limit who can view a page? Pages in a site are published in 3 different ways. Published - viewable all the time. Scheduled - they become viewable at a specific point in time. Dripped - you manually give access to someone. Dripped works great if you want to have a page in a membership site that is only viewable by a select group of people. For example, maybe I host the same course each year, and each group of participants has their own group page on Facebook for daily interactions. I can add the Facebook group as an external link page and then set that page to be Dripped. I would then Drip it to that group of participants and no one else via a trigger or broadcast.  Webbooks This is a great tool to structure long pieces of content. Use the Text section to add headings and paragraphs, then enable the option to Auto-generate a table of contents to be displayed on a left sidebar: Add Chapters under the webbook section on the builder using the plus icon: The first page is considered the primary page in the webbook, and all the other pages are mounted at the "primary page's path/their slug": You will still have the freedom to later edit each of the pages' slugs and customise them if you want: NOTE! We’ll always include h1 and h2 headings in the table of contents, but only include h3 and h4 headings if the total number of headings does not exceed 10. Check out this live Webbook to see the full user experience! Favourites Your members can save their favourite lessons across your site courses using the heart icon displayed on the course overview: Favourite content is saved at the site level and can be reached on the site URL /favorites (simplerosite.com/favorites). Adding a Favourites page to your site will improve your members’ experience as they will have their favourites handy from anywhere on your site: Blog/Forum pages Before you add Blog/Forum pages to your Membership Site you would need to enable them first. You can also adjust whether to moderate posts, add an intro text, or use engagement badges: You can always have a look at the Forum and Blog pages (before you add them to your Site header) from the admin page: Member Directory The member directory is enabled by default. It allows members to share their profile info and get tagged in posts and comments. If you would rather disable the member directory, navigate to the Site >> Configure >> Community Features section and detoggle the Member directory option: If you keep it on, you can choose to hide new member’s profile from the member directory and mentions by default if needed. Members will need to be logged in to access the Members page, where they'll find who’s a member of the site, and since when they became members: On each member you'll find where they’re located, any engagement badges they've been awarded, and their activity on the site:

[Legacy Experience] Website Pages
Website pages are extremely versatile; they can basically be anything you want them to be. In Simplero, when you choose to add a new page, you have a bunch of options. Designing Your Products Page We all want our customers to be fully aware of the products we're selling. There are a few ways you can do this on your Simplero website. You can create a content page and use the Products section to feature all of your Listed Products, or choose the Featured Products section and just feature a select few products of your choice: You can create a sales page for every product or a single sales page that talks about all your products with buttons that link to their order forms. You can also use the pre-formatted Product Catalog page. This page is determined by your products catalog. From there, you'll be able to add categories and list and unlist products: Webbooks This is a great tool to structure long pieces of content. Use the Text section to add headings and paragraphs, then enable the option to Auto-generate a table of contents to be displayed on a left sidebar: Add Chapters under the webbook section on the builder using the plus icon: The first page is considered the primary page in the webbook, and all the other pages are mounted at the "primary page's path/their slug": You will still have the freedom to later edit each of the pages' slugs and customize them if you want: NOTE! We’ll always include h1 and h2 headings in the table of contents, but only include h3 and h4 headings if the total number of headings does not exceed 10. Check out this live Webbook to see the full user experience! Favourites Your members can save their favourite lessons across your site courses using the heart icon displayed on the course overview: Favourite content is saved at the site level and can be reached on the site URL /favorites (www.example.com/favorites). Adding a Favourites page to your site will improve your members’ experience as they will have their favourites handy from anywhere on your site. Social Media Sharing We know you and your customers want to share your website on social media. But sometimes those shares don't look the way you want them to, and Facebook prevents users from editing the share. We know this is to protect against the false representation of the shared site, but for legit companies like you, who want their business represented beautifully, this can make things a little harder. But Simplero makes it easy for you to control what image will be in that share, giving you some say in how your website is represented. All you need to do is follow the steps below: Select Marketing from your Simplero Dashboard. Choose Main website from the dropdown menu. Select the Pages tab. Find the page you want to share and click the blue Editor pencil icon on the right side of the page name. The editor interface screen will open. Select the Settings tab for that page. Scroll down to the Search engines and social section. In the Social sharing image, click the Choose media button:          Choose the image you want to display. NOTE! The image must be at least 200 x 200 to be accepted by Facebook. Select the blue Save changes button. To edit multiple pages in a row, or to see which ones have already been updated, you will also find these settings on the very convenient Marketing >> Main Website >> Pages >> SEO tab: NOTE! If you add the social sharing image and it doesn't appear when you try to share the page on Facebook, run it through the Facebook Sharing Debugger tool and scrape it a few times until the image appears. See below: Removing a Page Select Marketing from your Simplero Dashboard. Choose Main website from the dropdown menu. Select the Pages tab. Find the page you want to remove and click the blue Editor pencil icon next to the page name. The editor interface screen will open. Towards the bottom left corner, you will see a grey link that reads"Delete page." Confirm your request. Alternatively, delete the page from the Pages table >> Select action dropdown: Website XML To see your sitemap XML, for sending to Google, for example - just add /sitemap.xml to the end of your URL, like this: https://simplero.com/sitemap.xml

[Legacy Experience] Editing your Theme Code
Simplero lets you edit the code that comprises your site, including HTML, CSS, and Javascript. NOTE! If your site uses the New Community Experience, we do not give you the option to edit the Theme Code. This option is only available on our Legacy Experience, which is a deprecated feature in Simplero. Also if you make changes to your Theme Code and then switch your site to the New Community Experience, the changes will not affect your site moving forward. Editing Your Theme Code Unfortunately, we do not have a lot of documentation on this yet, but here is a starting point: The HTML pages are written using a templating language called Liquid. It was created by Shopify, and so for now, the best place to find documentation for this is at Shopify's site. Beware that we would not have exactly the same tags, filters, and objects. But it's close. The best way to find out what is available is to look through our official source. Theme files with a .liquid extension will automatically be preprocessed using the Liquid templating engine and will output either HTML or CSS or Javascript, depending on the underlying file. Our CSS is written using a language called SCSS. Any regular CSS is valid SCSS, so if you do not want to learn SCSS, don't worry. You can just write CSS, and it will work. Files with a .scss extension will automatically be preprocessed using the SCSS compiler, which will translate it into CSS that browsers understand. Our Javascript files are written in CoffeeScript. Any theme file with extension .coffee will automatically be compiled to plain Javascript before being sent to the browser. Unlike with CSS and SCSS, plain Javascript is NOT valid CoffeeScript, so if you want to use plain Javascript, you will have to add it in a separate file. Careful when Making Changes As long as you have not made any changes to your theme, you will automatically get updates to your theme as we make them. We fix bugs, make small improvements to layout and rendering, or add entirely new features that require changes to both the site theme code and the backend. Once you make changes to a file, you will no longer automatically receive updates to that particular file. You will still receive updates to all your unedited theme files. This can cause problems when we do make changes, and thus you need to be careful when you make changes, and aware that you will need to factor in the cost of staying up to date with our ongoing changes. We have not yet developed a process for handling these changes, so, for now, you will have to bear with us, and we will do our best to work with you. Read This Before Making Stylesheet Changes The most common thing that you will probably want to do is make changes to the site's stylesheet. For this reason, we strongly encourage you to NOT make changes directly to the theme.scss.liquid theme file, but instead to add your changes to the custom.scss.liquid file. In here, you should be able to override anything in theme.scss.liquid, while still continuing to receive our changes. If you do not do this, when we do make changes to the HTML that requires changes to the CSS, you might end up with a very weird looking site, because the HTML changed, but not the CSS. You've been warned! Review Where You’ve Made Changes Did you update the theme code and now can’t remember what changes you made? Say no more! Anything you’ve made changes to will have the person with a pencil icon next to it: To see your Revision history, press the Revision history button in the top right-hand corner: Here you can see exactly how many changes were made, and how long ago. You can also Restore this file to its original version, or Blast away all local changes and revert to system theme file if you’d like to get updates each time we make improvements to the theme:

[Legacy Experience] How to Customise Your Website Theme

Effortless site navigation gives your customers the best experience when they visit your website and helps reduce bounce rate! Read on for all you need to know to build your site navigation in Simplero.  NOTE! This guide covers how to edit the Navigation for sites on the Legacy Experience. If your site uses the New Community Experience, head over to this guide. In this guide, we cover: How to Configure Footer Navigation How to Create a Navigation List How to Edit a Navigation List How to Delete a Navigation List How to Configure Dropdown Menus Footer Navigation All websites include an editable Footer navigation. You can add links to the footer navigation, just like other navigation lists, but the included footer navigation comes preset with two links: Terms and conditions - this link will take visitors to a page with the terms you set up in your settings. Customer service - this link will open up the email service on the user's computer and autofill the "to" field with your email. You can edit that email address through your account settings. These links will show up on the Default Footer for your website (wherever it’s used). Create a New Navigation List Select Marketing from your Simplero Dashboard. Choose Main website from the dropdown menu. Select the three dots next to the Configure tab and choose Navigation from the dropdown. In the upper right corner, click the blue Create new link list button: Give your navigation list a Name and Handle. The handle is important as it's a key used to refer to this navigation list from within your theme: Add the Links you want by selecting the + Add link button. Type in a Label and select a Link to a page from the drop-down menu: Repeat steps 6 and 7 until all Links to pages are added. Select the blue Create navigation list button when done. You can also do this for your membership sites under Content >> Membership Sites >> click the three dots >> Navigation. Use a Navigation List To use the navigation list you've created, you'll need to edit your theme. Then in the footer section, you can add and select your navigation list.  Edit a Navigation List Select Marketing from your Simplero Dashboard. Choose Main website from the dropdown menu. Select the three dots next to the Configure tab and choose Navigation from the dropdown. From your Navigation Lists screen, select the list you want to edit or click the white Edit list button. You'll be taken to the creation screen: From the creation screen, you can change the Name, Label names, Add new links, and even remove a label by selecting the blue trashcan icon to the right of the label you want to remove. Click the blue Save changes button. You can also do this for your membership sites under Content >> Membership Sites >> click the three dots >> Navigation. Delete a Navigation Link Select Marketing from your Simplero Dashboard. Choose Main website from the dropdown menu. Select the three dots next to the Configure tab and choose Navigation from the dropdown. From your Link list dashboard select Edit list:    5. You will be taken to the creation screen.    6. From the creation screen, click the blue trashcan icon to the right of the label you want to remove: Click the blue Save changes button. You can also do this for your membership sites under Content >> Membership Sites >> click the three dots >> Navigation. Create a Dropdown Menu To use this new feature, you need to first create a dropdown folder.  Do this from the Page editor, the same way you add a page to your Site. Click + Add and choose Folder: Drag it to represent the menu order you'd prefer.  Drag Subpages under it. NOTE! The dropdown folder is not a page itself. It only contains pages. Any existing top-level pages need to go under the new dropdown folder.   If you click on the name of your dropdown folder (from the public view) you can choose a page from the folder to navigate to. It works exactly the same way on both websites and membership sites.    Use Dropdown Menus Instead of a Sidebar Turn off the sidebar menus by customizing the theme settings. If you have sidebar enabled and you want to remove it, you'll need to turn it off in two places: On the individual page under the Page Settings: Or in the Theme for the site under the Sidebar section: We wanted to provide the option to have both a dropdown and sidebar for those who prefer it that way. If you have subpages and are using a sidebar, you'll still see that. We didn't want to surprise anyone by moving their pages around!   Drag Subpages to your Dropdown menu 1. If you have already-made pages and you wish to add these to your Dropdown menu then start by navigating to Websites >> Pages >> Edit menu & pages: 2. You will be taken to the editor area for your navigation.  3. Here you can drag and drop your pages into your folder by pressing and holding down the 6 grey dots to the left of your page name and dragging it under your dropdown folder: NOTE! You need to drag the sub-page so it’s indented underneath the dropdown menu (which tells the system to put the page into the folder). [Legacy Builder] Create Your Own 404 Page
NOTE! This guide shows you how to create a 404 page on the Legacy Builder. To create a page on the 2.0 Builder, head to this guide instead. A '404 Page Error' or 'Not Found Error' is the web page that's displayed when a person tries to go to a page that doesn't exist on a website. Maybe they made a typo when typing the web address, or maybe the page was deleted. When this happens with your Simplero website, we direct them to a default 404 error page. However, you can set your own 404 Page so that you can give your audience a customised 404 experience. Perhaps you'd like the opportunity to ask them to opt-in to your newsletter, browse your product catalog, or showcase your humour or personality 🎉 How to Set Up Your 404 Page  Decide which page on your website you want the 404 page to be. You may want it to be a page of its own that you create for this purpose, or you may just want to redirect them to your homepage or another page on your site.  If you want to redirect them to an existing page (like your home page or product catalog) for your 404, skip to point 3 below.  If you want to create a New Page for your 404, do the following: From top menu, go to Marketing and Select Main website.  Next, select the Edit menu & pages button: Choose +Add, then Page. Give it a title, then press +Add again: On the Settings for the page, make sure you check the button "Hide from Main Navigation": Add sections to the page and customize as desired: Go to the Settings for the page and set to Published: Once you’ve created your page, go to Main website >> Configure. Scroll down to Advanced >> Custom 404 Not Found Page, choose which page on your site you'd like to set as the 404 page and press Save Changes: That's it! Now when a customer tries to visit a page that isn't there, they’ll see your custom 404 page instead.

[Legacy Editor] Why does Simplero remove my HTML code?
NOTE! This only refers to adding HTML to the Legacy WYSIWYG Editor. If you add HTML to your 2.0 pages, head to this guide. When you enter HTML code in our Legacy WYSIWYG editor, we scrub your HTML code pretty hard.  There are several reasons for this. Security. Allowing unlimited HTML brings a bunch of security risks, known as "cross-site scripting" attacks, or XSS for short. By restricting the HTML, we eliminate that. Content Spam. Spammers have long used links as a way to game Google. We prevent that from working. Because when you copy-paste content from other programs into the wysiwyg editor, it'll usually come with a bunch of markup that you don't want. MS Word is especially awful in this regard, but other software does it too. Fonts, colours, background colours, and other things that you don't want, in addition to just awful and bloated markup that introduces weird problems. By restricting HTML, we manage to remove most of the unwanted markup. You as an admin are allowed more freedom than your end customers. I hope this explains the reasoning.

[Legacy Editor] Migrate from Legacy Editor to Builder 2.0
Simplero made it super easy to move your landing and site pages from the deprecated legacy editor to the new builder. To automatically migrate your page, click on the ‘Migration’ percentage button of the page: The percentage represents the number of sections that can be converted. As soon as you click on the Migration button, a new copy of your page will be created in Builder 2.0. At this point, your old page remains untouched, exactly as it was before. The new builder is now showing you side-by-side the two versions of your page. The Legacy version on the left, the new version on builder 2.0 on the right. If you go back to the landing pages page you’ll notice the new version has been created while the Live toggle is still turned off. It’s time now for you to review the sections and make any changes you need before making the actual switch. Use the builder editor on the right side to do so: Once you are ready to replace the old legacy version with the new builder 2.0 page, click on the ‘Switch’ button on the top right. Once you’ve switched to the new page, you’ll notice there’s only one copy on the Landing pages view, and it’s now showing live. Note that we will also transfer the analytics over from the legacy to the new version. Finally, if you regret the switch, you can always revert back to the legacy editor using the option ‘Revert legacy page’.
