You'll know how to update event details, manage participants, edit recurring occurrences, and cancel or delete events when they're no longer needed.
Update an event's title, description, registration settings, and other details any time from the event admin page. Open the event on “Settings” in the top right corner to edit.
For Zoom events, occurrence repetition, date, and time of a recurring series are managed inside Zoom. Editing those details in Simplero redirects you to Zoom.
From the event admin page, click Send broadcast in the top right corner. This creates a broadcast addressed to the event's approved participants.
Click Copy Link in the top right corner of the event admin page to copy the event link and share it with your contacts.
For a recurring series, the link you copy from the top header always points to the next upcoming occurrence. To link to one specific occurrence, copy its link from the Upcoming events section instead.
On a recurring event, the admin page shows a table of all upcoming and past occurrences. You can:
Edit a single occurrence — change its date, time, description, or host without touching the rest of the series. For Zoom events, this redirects you to Zoom. Click on the pencil icon next to the event you want to edit.
Edit from a specific occurrence forward — change the repetition, host, or other details for every event from that date on. Click on the arrows icon next to the event you want to edit.
Add additional occurrences — add extra dates to an existing repeating series. This only works on events that already repeat. You cannot add occurrences to a one-time event. Click on +Add Event in the top right corner.
Delete a single occurrence — remove one session from the series without affecting the others.
Click on the three dots next to the event
Choose “Delete event occurrence”
To make bulk changes, go to the events page, select multiple occurrences using the checkboxes and use the actions menu to set hosts, add labels, or delete.
Add participants while an event is upcoming. Go to your event and click on +Add a participant.
Once an event ends, you cannot add participants — not as an admin from the Participants tab, and not as the contact themselves.
To cancel a participant's registration:
Go to the Event
Open the Participants tab
Click on Cancel next to the participant

Go to Content → Events
Tick the checkbox next to an event
Select the action Set hosts.
Choose a host

The host shows on the event page and the Calendar page. Hosts can be set per occurrence or applied to the entire series.
Group events have no cancelled or rescheduled status. Every event is either upcoming, past, or deleted.
To cancel a group event, delete it:
Go to the event
Click on the … in the top right corner
Click on Delete event
To move a recurring event, change its recurrence details, or change the date and time of a single occurrence.
When you delete an event, it's removed from your events list. Registrants can no longer access it.
Why can't I add a participant to my event?
The event has ended. Once an event ends, no one can add participants — not an admin from the Participants tab, and not the contact themselves.
How do I cancel a group event?
Group events have no cancelled or rescheduled status. Delete the event to cancel it. To move a recurring event, change its recurrence details or the date and time of a single occurrence.
Why can't I change my event's location to Zoom?
Zoom, Google Meet, Microsoft Teams, and Simplero live stream lock at creation. You can't switch to them after creating the event, and you can't switch away from them. Online, In person, and TBD stay editable. Create the event again from scratch with the location you want.
Why can't I add more occurrences to my one-time event?
Additional occurrences only work on existing repeating series. Set the event to repeat, or create a new repeating event.
How do I edit the date and time of a Zoom recurring event?
For Zoom events, occurrence repetition, date, and time are managed inside Zoom. Editing those details in Simplero redirects you to Zoom.
Can I convert a one-time event into a recurring series?
No. Once created as a one-time event, you cannot convert it to a recurring series. Create a new recurring event instead.
