Intro to Simplero- Building your content
Setting up a Site
In this video, we will explain how to start setting up your Site. As the page builder is the same as the Marketing website, you can check out how to build pages in the following videos on that module to learn more about the page builder: Building Your Page Structure (In Page Builder 2.0) Creating Elements (In Page Builder 2.0) Using Style Guides (In Page Builder 2.0) There is also a whole Site module on our help guides that will show you how to build your site step by step. I would take a close look at our Site Pages guide within that module. If you want to see an example of how a Site looks from a customer’s perspective, you can join our Community site here.

Sites
Creating a Site
Sites are built on the same platform as your Simplero site. So they'll be brand-consistent, modern, and beautiful. They even use the same page editor as your main site. Sites feature a Blog, a Forum, a Member Directory, and Engagement Badges. Sites also feature Courses with a structured curriculum and support for quizzes as part of the lesson plan. Creating a Site Select Content from your Simplero Dashboard: In the Sites tab, click the + Create new Site button in the upper right corner: Enter the site name, and pick the type of site. This will set up some of the Community features for you. The functionality you get access to is the same in all three types so don't worry if you are not too sure which one it falls into or if you are creating a hybrid :) Just pick one of them and you can review the configuration later. Press + Create site: Once your site is created, you will be able to click on the Pages tab and Create a new page on the top right corner: Site Configure Settings Navigate to the Configure tab: There are some settings specific to the site that you might want to know a bit more in-depth before launching your new site: Using a Custom Domain If you own a domain and would like to link it to your site, click on +Add domain: NOTE! If you haven't set up your domain on your Account Settings, you might need to do so following the instructions on our guide on utilising a custom domain. After logout page Closed Sites (see Site URL section below) would only allow access to contacts via log-in. This also means they will be able to log out using the profile dropdown on the top right corner of your Site. By default, we will redirect the end-user to your Main Site, unless you add a URL on the "Redirect after logout" Advanced settings :)   Access to Your Site You can make your site publicly available (Open) or control access (Private, and Join): For Join (for free), you can also include a custom message on the Join page. Which looks something like... 2. For Private sites, you can customise a message on the login screen under the Site URL section: Member Directory Scroll down to the Community features section: If you disable the Member directory, your contacts won't be able to tag other members on any comments on this site. When enabled, you will be able to add it to your Site via Layouts & Navigation (here’s our guide on how to do this): And this is how it will look like on your Site when it goes live: You can default new members privacy settings to be hidden on this site member directory on the Advanced Settings below: Adding Sign-up Forms Using this section, you can add a sign-up form to a page within your Site. Simply select the + Add signup form button, and you can choose any of the sign-up forms you have created within your Simplero account: Member fields Like "What brings you here?" or "What's your job title?" — and members fill them in when they join. Admins can view and edit responses from the member admin panel, and members can update their own answers from their profile page. Email Settings Meta Data Allow showing SEO data when sharing a closed site URL in Facebook by checking the box at the bottom of this section: Once it’s been enabled, navigate to Site >> Pages >> SEO to add the Meta Title, Meta Description and Social Sharing Image for each page when sharing the closed URL on Facebook: You can also go to the Settings for a specific page from Site >> Pages >> Settings icon to add this information individually under the Search engines and social section: Launch your Site Once you are ready to Launch your new Site, click on "Launch site now" from any of the tabs. Connecting a Site to a Product or a List Select Sales from your Simplero Dashboard. In the Products tab, select the Product you want them to purchase to get access to the Site. Go to the Content tab: In the Sites, Courses, Groups section, search and select the Site that you want to grant access to via the product: Scroll down to the bottom of the page and click the Save changes button. Our team built a Demo Site to give you a better idea of how it looks like as an end-user :) Click here for access to our demo site  Cloning Page to Another a Site Want to copy your site pages onto a new site? Head to Site >> Pages Select the pages you want to copy and choose Select action: Clone to another site: Choose + Create new site to create the new site and copy this page to it: Or clone them to another existing site by selecting it from the dropdown instead: If you get stuck while building your amazing new site, contact Simplero support. If you don’t add a logo to your Site Theme, we will show the Site Title in the top right-hand corner of your website. Click here to learn how to add your logo. Home page - the Home Page of your site will be decided by the first item in your navigation on your site:. Example: Internal name - only you can see this name within your Simplero admin interface. You can keep it the same as the Website title or enter a new name. Labels - add any labels here if you'd like, or create a new label by typing the name directly. Site URL This is the web address that your site will be available at. You can hide the site from non-admins until you’re ready to launch and choose a landing page to show instead: Graphics The Card Image will appear on your customers’ Account Overview in their profile, where the sites they have access to are listed. We provide the following size recommendation for best results: 700 x 380 pixels The Favicon is the tiny icon that appears next to the page title in the browser tab. We provide the following size recommendation for best results: 48 x 48 pixels The Logo replaces the site title, or appears next to the site title if you have the Show site title even when logo is uploaded toggle is on: You can upload a version of the logo for light mode and dark mode. This means when a user visits the website in light mode, we’ll use the Logo for light mode (and vice versa for the dark mode version). Feed Page Simplero offers a system-generated page called the Feed Page that you can use on your site (it’s optional!) You can use it as a home page, or access it by typing adding /feed to the end of your Site URL. You can add it to your Navigation and Footer links using Layouts. This is where you can add a description that displays at the top of this page: Custom Domain If you’ve purchased a custom domain outside of Simplero and verified it in your Settings >> Change Your URL page, you can point that domain to this site here. If you have no domains verified in your account yet, you can press the white + Add domain button to add one to your Settings: Community Features Everything that has to do with liking or commenting on your Site’s Course lessons, Forum posts and Blog posts! You can also add an email address to notify of any posts or comments requiring moderator approval (based on the settings you configure for that). AI-enhanced search: Allow users to use AI to search inside your site. This will only show your contact information based on the content on that site (including video transcriptions). For now, you can't feed it extra information. This settings also allows members to summarize threads on forums and groups.  (This is only available in Simplero Skyrocket plan) It also allows you, as an administrator, to see what your members are searching for. You can do that on your site menu: Reactions on content: Allows your members to react to posts and comments Member-to-member chat: Allows all members to privately chat with each other. Administrators will always be able to chat to members, even if this setting is turned off.  Auto-collapse long comment threads Show engagement badges: If you are on the Rule The World, Scale or Skyrocket plans and it's the first time you’ve come across Badges, learn more about Engagement badges here! Engagement points type: Choose a points type that allows your members to accumulate points for interactions inside your site. This will allow you to gamify your site using things like: a leaderboard page (you can add that on the site navigation settings), allowing your users to get your products using those points, and motivate them with prizes. Comment security: Allow comments without logging in. This is only for public sites. If your site is closed, this will not allow anyone to see it.  Moderation email: Set up an email to get notified of new posts or comments that need moderator approval. This will depend on your blog and forum settings.  Notification Settings NOTE! It’s best practice to host courses on a closed Site, since it’s much easier to control access to them in this case (instead of your Main Website, which is always public). However if you do host any of your Courses on your Website, participants would become Members of your Website. This is also the case when using the Blog on your Website. In this particular case, members would have the option to receive certain notifications related to the site. Choose the default settings for new members in this section: You can also disallow commenting by replying to email notifications. Signup forms This section lets you add an opt-in form(s) you've created in Simplero to every page of your site all at once. See our guide here for more detailed information on linking your different Simplero opt-in forms to your site. Social profiles (Social media links) This section is where you add all the URLs to your social media sites such as Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, etc. so people can click on the icons from your Site footer and view your social media: As soon as you add your social media links on the section above, they’ll show up on your Site footer (example below): Meta data In the Meta Data section where you can place your Meta title Default image that’ll be shown when people share content from your website. NOTE! The picture should be at least 200 × 200 for Facebook to accept it. Allow Facebook crawler to access meta data of private pages? - Turning on this setting would allow Facebook to crawl the page title, description, and social sharing image of private pages only if they are not hidden from search engines. Hide entire site from AI bots - Block AI crawlers like GPTBot, ChatGPT, Claude, and others from accessing any page on this site. AI / LLMs context -  Appended to your auto-generated /llms.txt so AI tools understand who you serve, what you offer, and how to describe your business. Leave blank to use the auto-generated file only. Updates may take up to an hour to appear while the file is cached. Triggers Add a trigger that fires based on different actions that members take on the site, such as when… A new member joins A member logs in A member uploads a profile photo A member creates a forum post A member is absent/has not logged into the site for a certain amount of time Here’s our guide on Triggers if you need an overview of how they work. Advanced Settings Configure the Advanced settings for your site, such as adding a Support Ticket widget, a Custom 404 not found page, etc. Not Found Page What do you want us to show when a page or content on the Main Site is not available: Simplero's built-in or your own Not Found page 😀 Here’s our guide on how to set up a Custom 404 Not Found page. FAQ SEO consequences of migrating your existing site to Simplero Assuming you moved over the domain name, and use our blog migration tool to migrate your blog posts from your external site (on Wordpress, for example), all of your blog posts will still be served at their original URLs, though we will redirect them to the new URL. As for all the other URLs, those will change. You can set up redirects for those manually, just like you'd need to move them over or recreate them manually in Simplero. How this all affects SEO, we're not experts enough to say. To Learn about your site URL check out our guides here on custom Domains and URLs We also have a free Mastering SEO Webinar Series in our Simplero University (anyone with a Simplero account has free access to the this) with a video on SEO for a Website Migration to Simplero: How to Preserve Rankings & Results 💻 Remove "Powered By Simplero" From the Footer For those on the Rule the World, Scale or Skyrocket plan you can remove the "Powered by Simplero" from the Footer by visiting: Settings >> Logos >> Advanced Settings: If you choose to show Powered by Simplero in your Footers, you can turn them off for specific sites using Layouts. You can also choose to use the Simplero Affiliate ID in place of the logo. Notice something out of date or missing with this guide? Email the support team and we'll get it fixed!
Sites
Site Pages
Once you’ve created your site, it’s time to add your pages to it! In Simplero, there are a whole bunch of pages that you can add. Let’s dive into the options! 🚀 Which Page Should You Pick? Each of these pages has different options and uses. Let's take a closer look at each one: Pages - Allows you to design a page on your Site. Here are some ideas for pages you can build: A simple welcome page with a video at the top, welcoming members to your site and showing them where to get access to what they paid for. It could even include a course catalog so your customers can quickly get to the course they want to access. A sales page to up-sell members to other products that exist within this Site or outside it. NOTE! Here's our guide on how to use our page builder - bookmark and refer back to that as you build out your pages 🤓 Favourites - Course lessons can be saved as favourite by your members. Add a Favourites page they can easily reach to see their favourite content. Blog and Forum - Here is where you would give access to the Blog or Forum that you’ve been working on in the back end of your Site. Groups - You can set up exclusive Forums that only certain members can access, based on what they paid for. Member Directory - Here is where you can let members see each other. Members are anyone who has access to the Site for any reason. External Link - This is a great way to link to an outside Sales page, a Scheduling Link, etc. Basically, anything you can find on the interweb that isn't created on your Site.  Terms and Conditions - This will link to the terms and conditions set up in your Account Settings. Customer Service - This will link to the email address for support that you added in your Account Settings and can exist in the Navigation menu and Footer (wherever you choose to add it). Once you have decided on the page you want to add, below are step by step instructions for managing that page.  NOTE! You must have at least one published, non-hidden page on a Site to serve as the home page.  Otherwise, your members will not be able to access the Site.  You can check out our Demo Site right here! How to Add a Page Select Content from your Simplero Dashboard Choose Sites from the drop down menu Select the Site you want to add pages to Press the Edit layout & navigation button in the top right-hand corner: Press the + button on the left next to Main navigation, and choose the Page you want to add from the popup list. In the screenshot below, I chose to add a regular Page so I can build it out: Once you choose the Page type that you want to add, this will create the Page and add it to the list of items on your Navigation menu on the left. You can then click on the title of the Page to go to that page directly (if you chose to add a blank Page): You can also press the pencil icon next to each menu item to edit the label we display on the Navigation menu for that page: To add a subpage, simply select the + sign beneath the Page you want to be the mother page, choose + Add under this and follow step 6 to add a page and customise the title: To rearrange menu items, just drag and drop the titles. NOTE! Head to this guide for more information on how to use the Layouts feature 💥 Add a Page from a Template From the Site > Pages tab, click on ‘Create a new page’ button on the top right. Pick the template, and give the page a name: Once you’ve finished editing the page, you can add it to the Site navigation heading over to the Layout settings: How to Edit an Existing Page Select Content from your Simplero Dashboard Choose Sites from the dropdown menu Select the Site you want to add pages to Select the Pages tab Click the page name or the Edit icon on the far right: You will be redirected to the Editor screen. Be sure to review our guide on how to edit the sections and elements on the page. In the Sections column on the right side, you can add or delete sections, or move the sections around: Click the pencil icon next to the title in the top left-hand corner to change the page name: Press the three dots in the top right-hand corner and choose Settings from the dropdown menu to update the URL, Search Engines and Social Settings and Publish Status: Make sure to press the Save changes button at the bottom. How to Remove a Page Select Content from your Simplero Dashboard Select Sites from the dropdown menu Select the Site you want to add pages to Select the Pages tab Check the box next to the Page name you want to delete. Now you can delete the page two different ways: Press Select action… choose Delete from the dropdown menu, click OK to confirm: OR press the Trashcan icon and click OK to confirm: How to Limit Who Can View a Page Pages in a site are published in 3 different ways: Published - viewable all the time. Scheduled - they become viewable at a specific point in time. Dripped - only viewable when you give access to it manually or via a trigger/automation. NOTE! This option only appears when the Site is closed to the public and requires a login. A few notes about Dripped Pages: This works great if you want to have a page on a Site that is only viewable by a select group of people. For example: If you have a membership with different levels (Bronze, Silver and Gold) and you only want this page to be visible to the Gold level - set the page to Dripped, and grant access to the Gold purchasers via a trigger or automation. The Dripped option only appears when the Site is closed to the public and requires a login. Social Media Sharing We know you and your customers want to share your website on social media. But sometimes those shares don't look the way you want them to, and Facebook prevents users from editing the share. We know this is to protect against the false representation of the shared site, but for legit companies like you, who want their business represented beautifully, this can make things a little harder. But Simplero makes it easy for you to control what image will be in that share, giving you some say in how your website is represented. All you need to do is follow the steps below: Select Content from your Simplero Dashboard. Choose Sites from the dropdown menu. Head to the Site you want to share. Select the Pages tab. Press the Settings icon next to the page you want to edit: Scroll down to the Search engines and social section. For the Social sharing image, click the Choose file button: Choose the image you want to display. NOTE! The image must be at least 200 x 200 to be accepted by Facebook, but the recommended size for the image is 1200 x 628. Select the blue Save button in the top right-hand corner. To edit multiple pages in a row, or to see which ones have already been updated, you will also find these settings on the very convenient Content >> Sites >> Choose the site >> Pages >> SEO tab: NOTE! If you add the social sharing image and it doesn't appear when you try to share the page on Facebook, run it through the Facebook Sharing Debugger tool and scrape it a few times until the image appears. See below: Website XML To see your sitemap XML, for sending to Google, for example - just add /sitemap.xml to the end of your URL, like this: https://simplero.com/sitemap.xml Favourites Your members can save their favourite lessons across your site courses using the heart icon displayed on the Course Overview: Also on Individual Lessons: Favourite content is saved at the site level and can be reached on the site URL /favorites (simplerosite.com/favorites). Adding a Favourites page to your site will improve your members’ experience as they will have their favourites handy from anywhere on your site: Head to Content >> Sites >>> Choose the Site Press the Edit Layout & Navigation button Select Header & Navigation: Toggle Favourites ON to add it to the Navigation Menu: Blog and Forum Before you add Blog or Forum pages to your Site, you’ll need to enable them first: Press the Forum and Blog tabs: Press Enable the blog or Enable the forum: Press Enable blog and adjust the Title on blog page and Community Features: Press Enable forum and adjust the Forum page title, set the Moderation Settings for Forum Posts/Comments, and add Intro Text: You can always have a look at the Forum and Blog pages (before you add them to your Site header) from the admin page: Member Directory The Member Directory is enabled by default. It allows members to share their profile info and get tagged in posts and comments. If you’d rather disable the member directory, navigate to the Site >> Configure >> Community Features section and detoggle the Member Directory option: If you keep it on, you can choose to hide new member’s profile from the member directory and mentions by default if needed. Members will need to be logged in to access the Members page, where they'll find who’s a member of the site, the date they became members, and their time zone: On each member you'll find their time zone, any engagement badges they've been awarded, and their activity on the site:

Site Groups
If you are using one Site to hold multiple courses and products and you'd like each community to be able to exclusively connect with each other, Groups is all you need! Groups are exclusive Forums that you can grant access to for specific groups of people within your Site (ie. purchasers of a product, list subscribers, etc). You can organise your members based on the Group they belong to, have multiple forums under the same Site with wider access permissions and broadcast configuration. How to Create a Group Under a Site? Head over to the Content >> Sites >> Choose the site >> Groups tab: Press the Create a group button: Give it a public and internal name and customise the URL as well as the system default language: Choose one of three ways your members can receive access to the group: Open - Anyone inside the Site can join this group. Private - Anyone inside the Site can ask to join, and must be approved. Secret - Members can only be added by admins via a product, list, trigger, automation, or manually. We’ll talk more about these options under How to Give Access to a Group. Add a Description and Card Image (NOTE! We recommend 800 x 450 pixels in size): Enable/disable the Settings applying to the group forum, like adding a prefix to the subject line when sending emails related to this group: Press the Create group button to save your Group! You'll be able to revisit/edit all these settings from the Group >> Settings icon: How to Give Access to a Group? If Access is Set to Open: All you need to do is link the Group to your site somewhere (in the Navigation menu, on a page, etc) and all members of the site will be able to access it. If Access is Set to Private: You’ll need to add the “Group Index” page to your Top Navigation menu via the Layouts and Navigation editor: Here’s our guide on how to use Layouts. Now when members visit the Group Index page, they can request to join the group via the Discover New Groups tab by pressing Request to join: After that, you (as the Admin) will need to approve their request by heading to Site >> Groups >> Choose the Group >> Requests and pressing the “Approve” icon next to their name: If Access is Set to Secret: There are multiple ways to give access in this case. The most common are listed below: Product Content tab: You'll need to grant access to the Site before you can give your product purchasers access to the group inside it. List Content tab: Navigate to the list content and give access to the Site and group to your subscribers. NOTE! If your purchasers/subscribers do not have a Simplero ID yet, an orange button will show up for you to set them all up in one click! Manually from the Site >> Members tab: Select the member, press Select action… and choose Give access to a group: How to View Access to a Group? Click on the Groups tab within the Site where you created it. Press the title of the Group. Select the three dots in the top right-hand corner and choose Access to group from the dropdown menu: This will display all of the Products, Lists and Individual Contacts that have been granted access to the Group. You can also grant access to a product and/or list from this page:

Understanding SEO
What is SEO? Search engine optimization (SEO) refers to techniques that help your website rank higher in search engine results pages (SERPs), making it more visible to people who are looking for solutions that your brand, product, or service can provide via Google, Yahoo, and Bing.  SEO works by optimizing website pages, conducting keyword research, and earning inbound links (backlinks). Generally, results of SEO can be seen once the webpage has been crawled and indexed by a search engine. Several ways to improve the SEO of your site pages include title tags, keywords, image tags, internal link structure, and inbound links (backlinks). Additionally, search engines look at site structure and design, visitor behavior, and other external, off-site factors to determine how highly ranked your site should be in their SERPs.   Why is SEO important? SEO helps people find information and discover pages on the internet, but is especially important for businesses, as it ensures they’re answering their audience’s biggest questions on search engines, while driving traffic to their products and services.  Keep in mind...Just because you’re ranked high on the first page of Google, doesn’t always measure SEO success. You appear high on search engines, get a ton of traffic, but then your visitors realize your company isn’t what they were looking for. You don’t convert customers from this traffic, and ranking high for this particular keyword is futile. If you rank well on subsequent pages, you may have less traffic, but still have a high clickthrough rate. The amount of traffic to your page is less important than how qualified that traffic is. SEO Best Practices 1. Write high-quality content No matter what niche your website is in, always provide helpful and actionable guidance when you start writing. If you are giving the users the information they want, your content can be as long as you need. However, note that longer articles tend to rank higher in Google. In order to write the best about a specific subject, do your research and check what is already ranking high in Google, for your keywords. You have to find posts that have proven to be successful on social media and also at attracting backlinks. Have a look at the top 10 results and make improvements to the content that already exists. It’s no secret that you want to use your keyword a handful of times on your page. But you may not know that the location of your keyword also makes a difference. Specifically, you want to mention your main keyword at least once at the top of your page. Why does this matter? Google puts more weight on terms that appear at the top of a webpage. 2. Do keyword research Perform keyword research prior to any new writing. The best tool to use is the free Google Keyword Tool. Click on ‘Search for new keyword and ad group ideas’ and enter the main keywords you want to target. You’ll then get a list with keywords suggestions based on what users are searching in Google. Another method to find what people are searching for is to type in Google your main keywords, and check the suggestions based on the most popular searches. Also, if you scroll to the bottom of the Google page, you can see some more search related queries. Focus on keywords that have higher search volume, but don’t neglect long tail keywords, which are search phrases with longer word counts. Their length makes them more specific than searches with fewer words. If optimized right, you can get more traffic from keywords with less search volume. Keep in mind that you must write for your readers, and not for Google’s spiders.  Don’t do keyword stuffing, which is when you insert a large number of keywords into Web content and meta tags in the attempt to artificially increase a page's ranking in search results and drive more traffic to the site. Filling pages with keywords results in a negative user experience, and can harm your site's ranking. Focus on creating useful, information-rich content that uses keywords appropriately and in context. 3. Use unique title and meta descriptions Meta descriptions don’t carry as much value as they used to, but they still have an important role for SEO. Each of your pages should have a unique title and meta description. Make sure all are unique and you don’t have any duplicate ones. Google has stated that you should avoid “duplicate or near-duplicate versions of your content across your site.” This rule applies to every piece of content on your website, including: Title tags Meta description tags Product pages Landing pages Image alt text Category pages 4. Highlight your data with Google Webmaster Tools Go to Google Webmaster Tools and click on ‘Search Appearance’ and then on ‘Data Highlighter’. Click on ‘Start Highlighting’. You will be asked to choose what type of data you want to highlight. If you have a simple content blog, choose articles. If not, choose what is the most appropriate category for your website. Once on the highlighter page, simply click and drag your mouse over your website’s title and choose ‘title’. Do the same for your ratings, author, date published, image and so on. Google will ask you to repeat the process a few times until they will understand the patterns your website is following. Once finished, click ‘done’ and that’s all. When Google will crawl your site again, they will better recognize your data structure. By highlighting your website, you help Google better understand your site’s data. Data highlighter allows you to highlight parts of your website through Google Webmaster Tools, without having to make any code changes. That will help you display ratings, prices, and reviews along with your rich snippet in organic results. Even further, this will increase your chances of getting a Google Knowledge Card or Panel featuring your website.  Google Knowledge Panels are a type of rich results in Google’s search results pages. They can show information about all kinds of things and appear on the right side of your screen in the desktop search results. It shows details on the particular entity you’re searching for. If you want to be found for search terms like your name, brand or business name, a Knowledge Panel is really useful!  If Google decides to show you or your business in this panel, you pretty much dominate the search results on the right side of the screen in desktop search. In mobile, the panel will appear between other results but is pretty dominant as well.  A Knowledge Panel will, therefore, make sure your company or brand will stand out in the search results when people are specifically searching for it. That’ll give you lots and lots of clicks. This does make sense: if people are searching for you or your brand name, they probably want to find your website. So Google’s providing them with the best result. 5. Submit your sitemap to Google Having a sitemap for your website plays a crucial role in SEO. It helps Google easily crawl your pages and index your website. Head over to Google Webmaster tools and from the right side menu, click on Crawl-Sitemaps. There you can submit your sitemap to Google. 6. Avoid having 404 errors on your website Having a few 404 errors will not ruin your rankings completely, but they can lower your user experience, which ultimately can affect your SEO performance.  7. Promote your website through guest blogging The benefits of guest blogging are endless and often underrated. By tapping into already established communities, you can increase your reputation, build high-quality backlinks, get more exposure to your website and much more. 8. Use what works for your competitors If you could get about 50% of the websites that are linking to your competitors, to link to your website, that would mean you can easily outrank them, right? Of course, by having all the top links of all your main competitors, you could easily get an advantage ahead of them. You have to be up to date with all the backlinks they are building or earning, and try to replicate them. For this, you can use an SEO tool, like Monitor Backlinks. After connecting your account with Google Analytics and adding your competitors, you get a list with all the websites that are linking to them. The most useful feature is that it automatically compares your links with your competitor’s and highlights the ones you have in common. 9. Keep track of your backlinks Keeping track of your backlinks is just as important as building them. That’s because SEO relies on the quality of the backlinks your website gets. The more high-quality links you have, the higher you will rank in Google. Building backlinks is not enough. You also have to monitor every link your website is earning. Not knowing who links to you or when links are being removed can cost you a lot of traffic. After all, no one would want to be a victim of negative SEO. 10. Speed up your website Your website loading speed is one of the most important rankings factors in Google. No one likes slow websites, and neither does Google. Studies show that a visitor expects a website to load in no more than 2 seconds. If it takes more than 4 seconds, users usually lose patience, and the chances of clicking the back button are increasing with every second of delay.  To find suggestions to speed up your website, you can use Google PageSpeed Insights tool. Optimizing your images is one of the first things to do if you want to speed up your website. Never use pictures at a higher resolution than the one you need to display on your posts. The slower your website is, the more complicated it will be for Google’s bots to crawl your pages. 11. Use smart URLs for your posts Your URLs should include your main keywords, but make sure you keep them short and friendly. Try to limit the number of characters as much as possible. For example, you can drop adverbs from your URL. Use hyphens instead of underscores and try to maintain a consistency. 12. Remove duplicate content from your website Duplicate content is your website’s worst enemy. Google is very serious about penalizing websites with duplicate content, descriptions or titles. Use tools like Google Webmaster Tools to detect when duplicate content problems occur on your website. 13. Consistently add fresh content Websites with fresh content added on a regular basis are given more authority, and rank higher in the search results. Fresh content tells Google you are maintaining your website. 14. Build a strong internal linking system When writing a new post, always link to previous relevant articles you have written. That will help your users spend more time on your website by visiting other useful articles. A better average time on your website leads to a lower bounce rate and a greater user experience. Make the navigation through your website as smooth as possible. 15. Optimize your images Name Your Images With Descriptive Filenames: Google can’t “see” images (yet). And your image’s filename is one thing that helps them understand the content in your image. Use Image Alt Text: Google has said that they largely rely on alt text to understand images. It takes a few extra seconds to write alt text for each image, but it’s worth it. Just like with your filename, you want to write descriptive alt text that lets search engines know what your image is all about. Here’s our guide on how to edit Alt Text for your images. 16. Don’t just build backlinks to your homepage When building backlinks to your website, you have to make everything look as natural as possible. It’s normal that a website has most of its links to the homepage. However, if the website has nothing but backlinks linking to the main page, it can raise a flag to Google. For this reason, you should also build backlinks to your other pages. Use Keyword-Rich Anchor Text: Google uses your anchor text as a clue to what a page is all about. For example, the anchor text in these links helps Google understand what each page is about. Needless to say, you want to use anchor text that includes your main keyword. Send Authority to Pages That Need It: In general, you want to internally link to pages that don’t have much (if any) link authority. When you do, you’ll send much-needed authority to that low-authority page… which can boost its Google rankings. 17. Track Your Results With The Google Search Console If you don’t have the Google Search Console setup, you’re flying blind with your SEO. The Search Console is like a live dashboard that lets you know how your site is doing in the SERPs. Recommended: Checking these 3 reports on a regular basis. Performance: This data lets you know how many people see and click on your site in Google search. You can also see the exact keywords that people use to find your content… and where you tend to rank. This is all super valuable on its own. But the real value is tracking your impressions and clicks over time. If they’re moving on’ up, it’s clear that these SEO best practices are working. If not, it may be time to try a different approach. Coverage: The coverage report lets you know which pages from your site Google has indexed. It will also let you know if it’s having trouble fully-crawling any of your pages. If you see “errors” and “warnings” here, fix these ASAP. After all, if Google can’t index your page, it won’t rank for anything. Fortunately, Google doesn’t just tell you: “We can’t index this page”. They usually let you know what’s causing the issue. Enhancements: The main thing to pay attention to in this report is “Mobile Usability”. Considering that Google’s index is now mobile-first, you definitely want to make sure that your site is easy to use on mobile devices. Where to find SEO Parameters in Simplero You will find an SEO tab in your Site pages which allows you to customise the Meta data, Description and Social image in one click: How to find your Sitemap in Simplero To find your sitemap, for sending to Google, for example - just add /sitemap.xml to the end of your site URL, like this: https://simplero.com/sitemap.xml H tags in the text editor H tags are HTML heading elements. They indicate the structure of your content inside your site. Using them wisely will help improve your website's SEO and user experience.  While editing your site, click on "Format" to choose the different headers. Dripping: A Visual Representation
The Drip House One way to understand how dripping works is by using the analogy of a house.  Your site is the house Your course is a room in the house The modules in the course are a closet inside a room The lessons in the modules are a lockable box in the closet When you make something dripped, you are locking the door to that thing.  When you lock the door to something, you have to give someone the key in order for them to access it. They must also have the key to everything that comes before it, in order to access it.  For example, if you give someone a key to a closet (a module in your course), but you haven't given them the key to the room it's in (the course itself), then they still can't access the closet (aka the module).  Or if you give someone the key to the closet and the lockable box, but the door to the house and the room are locked and you don't have the key, then good luck getting to the box!  So make sure that they are being given the "keys" to everything they need, which you give them through either triggers, automations, auto-responses, directly, or by putting it in the "content" of a product. See this guide for how to release access. NOTE! It's unnecessary for you to 'lock the doors' and drip something if it's already locked inside something else that you want people to access at the same time. For example: If you want to release the modules of a course once a week, and want the person to also get access to all of the lessons in that module at the same time, then you would not need to drip the lessons. Set them to published. The 'lock' on the module is protecting the lessons from being accessed so there's no point in dripping them. If you did drip them, then you'd need to give out the individual keys for all of those lesson 'boxes'. You can do that, but it's a lot easier to just make them published. In other words, if you want people to access everything in a site once you give them the key to that site, then set the site to dripped, and everything else within it to published.  If you want people to access everything within a course once you give them access to the course, set the course to dripped, and the modules and lessons inside of it to published.

How to Drip the Content On Your Site
In this guide: How to Set your pages/courses to Dripped On a Site Page On a Course Modules And Lessons How to Release Access Using Autoresponses Using Broadcasts Using Automations Using Triggers Using a Segment When you want to give people access to content at different times, dripping in Simplero is the perfect feature to use. With Drip pages, you can create evergreen products and drip-content, where a module is released each week after a purchase, regardless of when customers make the purchase. Drip pages also allow you to use the same site over and over again for different groups/classes going through the same course. For this reason, they're optimized for use with Drip and Automations, which are also designed for content and courses that are used by different people at varying times.  Dripping Content Each page, course, module, or lesson inside a Membership Site can be automatically dripped out over time using the Drip status. What this means is that the page, course, module, or lesson is ready to go, but when a new customer first gets access to your membership site or space, they won't be able to see it. You have to give them access first either through a trigger, automation, or broadcast/email within Simplero. How to Set your pages / courses to dripped On a Membership Site Page Note: Your site has to be closed to be able to drip pages Go to your site and select the Pages tab Select the pages you want to drip Click on Select action Click on Drip On a Course Go to your Content tab and click on Courses Go to your course settings: Scroll down to the Publish state section and click on dripped On a Module and Lesson How To Release Access: Using Auto-Responses Create an auto-response and schedule it for x number of days after a customer subscribes to a list or purchases a product. Make sure you have set up the content of the list or product to give access to the site or course your drip pages, modules or lessons belong to. Navigate to the Auto-Responses tab. Click the + Add auto-response button. Enter the Subject and fill Send When in with the number of days after signup/purchase you want your auto-response sent, and click the Add auto-response button. Complete your auto-response information: Subject - What customers see (this should stand out in an inbox).  Internal name - What admin screen calls the email (only you can see this). Preheader - The first part of your email to grab people's attention in inboxes (this is greyed out). Email body - This is where you type the email that you want to use for the auto-response. Email design template - Choose the email template to use for the auto-response. Triggers - This section is not required for an autoresponder, but it does allow you to have the system perform an automated action when an autoresponder is sent. Check out our guide on triggers for more information about how they work.  Click the Save changes button. At the bottom of the page, below the email body box, you'll have checkboxes next to each page and course content that is set to drip. If you tick those boxes, the auto-response will give access to that content as soon as it is sent.  Note: The list or product needs to be giving access to the site/course through the content in order to use that option To Release Access Using a Broadcast Create a new broadcast. Check out our guide on Dripping a Page in a Broadcast for more information on this.  Be sure to select a list or product that is giving access to this membership site/space. You can't have additional recipients that don't have access to that same membership site/space; if you do, the drip option won't be available. If you haven't given access to a membership site/space yet, go to the List or Product, then go to Content, under Courses & Sites check the box next to the membership site you want to give access to. Select the broadcast recipients: participants on a product or subscribers of the list edit the content. You'll now see a set of checkboxes under the content editor that you can check to release course modules and lessons on the membership site/space. Check the page you want to drip. This will place a link in your email with the page title. You can use that link in the broadcast, edit the text, or delete it. As long as the box next to the page is checked, the recipients will still get access. Finish adding copy and send the email as you normally would.  As soon as the email goes out, whether as an auto-response or broadcast, the recipients will be able to view the pages you selected. To override the pages that a contact has access to, find their contact page using the global search field in the top right corner of your account. Then find the membership site/space in question, and you should see a link that says "Manage access." Click that, and you can choose which drip pages the contact gets access to. To Release Access Using Automations You can also release content using automations.  Create an automation: Select Marketing from your Simplero Dashboard and choose Automations from the dropdown menu. Click the Create new automation button in the upper right corner. Give your new automation a name and click OK to save. Click the + Add a step button to add your action step. In your action step, click the drop-down arrow to choose the option "Give access to a site/page/course module or lesson," select the site/page/course module or lesson name and click the Save changes button. Then set up a Trigger on the product or list that starts the automation when someone subscribes to the list or a new participant is activated on the product for the first time. You can do this in two ways: Click on Add a trigger to start this automation at the top of the automation before Step 1. In the Add new trigger pop-up screen, click the drop-down menu to select the option for Participant Activated, first time only, Start Automation, choose Which automation and click the Save changes button. You're all set! After these steps, the automation will be in charge of giving your customers access to the content. NOTE: If you use an automation to release access to a page within the membership site/space, then the automation controls access, not the product. Therefore when you go to the "manage access" link within the client screen in the product, you will not see the page listed as viewable.  To Release Access Using Triggers You can also give access to the drip page or course module/lesson with triggers. To release access using triggers, follow these steps: Select Sales from your Simplero Dashboard and choose Products/Lists from the dropdown menu. Select the product or list you want to add the trigger to. Click on the Content tab. Scroll down to the Triggers section and click the + Add trigger button. In the Add new trigger pop-up screen, click the drop-down menu to select the option for Participant: Activated, first time only, Give access to a page, choose Which page, and click the Save changes button.   To Release Access Through a Segment You can also give access to a page to people across more than one product or list and without sending an email. Here's how:  Select Contacts from your Simplero Dashboard. Choose the Segments tab from the dropdown menu. Click the Create a segment button located in the upper right corner. In the Include section, click the + Add include... button and choose all the products or lists of contacts you want to give page access to (for example, a list, broadcast, product, auto-response, automation, etc.). Then click the Add Member Group button, and this will start populating all the contacts for that segment. Now perform the action for your segment by selecting the Perform action... button from the top action menu. In the Perform an action pop-up screen, click the drop-down menu to select the option Give access to a site/page, choose Which site, and click the Go do it! button. If you get stuck or have any questions about the steps in this guide, contact Simplero Support. We'd love to help you!

Free and Paid Access to a Single Site
A sample site is a great freebie to give away as an opt-in gift or during a sales funnel. With a site, you can give both your paying and free customers access, and restrict certain courses so only members can view the content.  Site setup is easy, and we're here to show you how to get yours up and running.  To get started, you'll either need to create a new site or edit settings in an existing site. In this guide, we'll walk you through the steps from square one.  Create a Site and Give Access to Free and Paid Customers Create a new Site under Content in your Simplero Dashboard. Design your home page. Everyone will need access to this page, so make sure it works for both free and paid members. Publish the home page and launch the site. Add any additional pages you want both free and paid members to have access to and publish them. Create any courses you want both free and paid members to have access to and set them to Published. Connect your list(s) and product(s) to the site. To do this, go to the Content tab within each list and product and check the box next to the Site you want to grant access to: Don't stop here. If you do, both free and paid members have access to all the same things. So now you need to add some exclusive content for paid vs. free members. Add Exclusive Paid and Free Courses Go back to your Site and add a new course.  At the Access section of the Course Settings, choose the option Dripped: Navigate back to your Product’s Content tab and check the box next to the PAID course you want to give access to: Repeat step 3, but navigate to your List’s Content tab instead and check the box next to the FREE course you want to give access to. Repeat steps 3 and 4 for each paid and free course you want on your site. As you set up each of these courses, we recommend you turn on the Preview Settings as an easy way to up-sell your paid products to your free members. Adding Exclusive Paid or Free Content Via Pages If you want to add any pages to your site that are exclusively for paid members or free members, you'll need to set those pages to be Dripped. To do that, follow the steps below: Go to your Site and select the Pages tab Choose the pages you want to drip and press Select action… Choose Drip… from the dropdown menu: Then add a trigger, set up an auto-responder, or create an automation to give page access to the desired list or product. You can learn more about dripping pages here.  You're all set - now you have free and paid members accessing the same site. Happy selling! If you have any questions or get stuck, contact Simplero support. We'd love to help you!

Page Speed Optimization - How Simplero Automatically Makes Your Pages Load Faster
How fast your web pages and funnels load makes a big difference for both your user experience and your conversion rates. In fact, Google and other ad platforms penalize you for running ads to pages that load in longer than 3 seconds. This would make your ads cost more and reach fewer people. One of the biggest factors in how fast your pages load is your image size and caching. Simplero automatically converts the images you upload into the gold-standard WebP format. This reduces image size without losing quality and massively improves page load speed. If for some reason you would like to disable the WebP conversion for a file, you can do that from the right side-bar of the image asset in your media library: NOTE! Sometimes, the WebP version is bigger than the original. In those cases, we won't convert to WebP. We also don’t convert files uploaded to the liquid code of your theme (most people never do this). If you upload a .webp file to your theme, we will choose that one over a file with the same name but a slower-loading format. To automatically improve your page load speed, we also: Resize images depending on their use and the type of device being used Strip out unnecessary meta-data

Create Your Own 404 Page
A '404 Page Error' or 'Not Found Error' is the web page that's displayed when a person tries to go to a page that doesn't exist on a website. Maybe they made a typo when typing the web address, or maybe the page was deleted. When this happens with your Simplero website, we direct them to a default 404 error page. However, you can set your own 404 Page so that you can give your audience a customised 404 experience. Perhaps you'd like the opportunity to ask them to opt-in to your newsletter, browse your product catalog, or showcase your humour or personality 🎉 How to Set Up Your 404 Page  Decide which page on your website you want the 404 page to be. You may want it to be a page of its own that you create for this purpose, or you may just want to redirect them to your homepage or another page on your site.  If you want to redirect them to an existing page (like your home page or product catalog) for your 404, skip to point 3 below.  If you want to create a New Page for your 404, follow the steps in this guide to add a new page to your site. Under Layouts and Navigation for the Site, make sure you hide or delete the page from the Navigation menu if you added it there previously: Add sections to the page and customise as desired. Here’s our video on how to build your page structure, in case you need some guidance here. Publish the page via the blue Publish button in the top right-hand corner of the page editing screen: Once you’ve created your page, head to Sites >> Choose the Site >> Configure. Scroll down to Advanced >> Custom 404 Not Found Page, choose which page on your site you'd like to set as the 404 page and press Save Changes: That's it! Now when a customer tries to visit a page that isn't there, they’ll see your custom 404 page instead.

To do this, just make sure each course (or class) is set to Dripped. Then you can give access to it via the Product they need to pay to see it. Now if people who bought other courses (and not this one) log into the same Site, they won’t see the comments on this course (because they didn’t pay for this one). Repeat for all your courses, and you’ll be good to go!

Embedding Videos on Your Site
How to Embed Videos on your Site Generally, we recommend using Simplero's media library when adding videos to your site. This makes it possible for us to make the videos fully responsive and usable in different types of content.  BUT if you still want to embed a video, usually from YouTube or Vimeo, there are a couple of things to consider to make sure it’s a good user experience - especially if they’re watching from mobile devices. First, Make sure the video you’re trying to embed comes from an https:// source – if it comes from an http:// source it can't be embedded in a Simplero site. Second, Youtube and Vimeo videos are embedded in what are called "iframes”. This causes potential problems, since the iframe has a fixed width. By default, this width is greater than that of a mobile phone, so it'll break the layout when people visit your site from their mobile devices. So, if you want to keep your pages in your site responsive, you'll need to change the width in the embed code for the video. Here's how to do this for YouTube videos: Make sure that the video is set to Public or Unlisted – videos with private status can't be embedded. To make sure your video is set to Public or Unlisted, follow these steps: Go to your YouTube video manager: Click on your Picture profile from the upper right-hand corner and select My channel: Click the blue Creator Studio button: Find and mark off the video you want to change and click the Action drop-down menu: In the "Privacy" menu, choose your setting: Public/Unlisted: Go back to your video, and get the embed code/link: Click the Share option under the video: In the pop-up screen, select the Embed option: Copy the src bit of your embed code: Go to the Simplero page you want to add the video and paste the following code: <p style="text-align: center;"> <iframe src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/EB8abcdsfdfdsfgreaw" style="width: 100%; max-width: 800px; height: auto; aspect-ratio: 16 / 9; display: block; margin: auto;" frameborder="0" allow="accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share" allowfullscreen> </iframe> </p> Replace the src bit of the code with the src link you copied from your video Click Ok to save NOTE! If you’re using a 2.0 builder page, you’ll need to add the code to an HTML element: If done correctly the video will show as seen below in the editor when you save the source code. When seen in the site from a PC, it is rather small, but your participants can then use the full-screen option, and on mobile it allows the rest of the space to resize properly. Embed Videos From Dropbox Here are the steps if you'd like to embed a video from your Dropbox account. Create public Dropbox folder  Upload file in that folder  Create shared link --> https://www.dropbox.com/s/up0ywyf8056gjgx/SundGraviditet_traening_v2.mp4?dl=0  Replace dropbox.com with dl.dropboxusercontent.com and remove dl=0. New link --> https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/s/up0ywyf8056gjgx/SundGraviditet_traening_v2.mp4  Insert new link in Iframe html:  <iframe width="560" height="315" src="https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/s/up0ywyf8056gjgx/SundGraviditet_traening_v2.mp4" frameborder="0" allow="accelerometer; autoplay; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture" allowfullscreen></iframe> Embed Videos from Vimeo You can embed videos from your Vimeo account. In order to do so, Vimeo requires the URL where the Vimeos will be embedded to allow them to play.  If you are offering the Simplero App, you will also need to add the app URL: https://mobileapp.simplero.com

Multi-Language Site
Do you serve an international customer base and want to offer your Site content in more than one language? This guide will show you how. First, we’ll create the site content in different languages. Then we’ll connect the contacts to the correct site.  Let’s get started! Create Your Multi-Language Site When creating your multi-language site, you have two options: Option 1: Create an identical site for each language. So if you are offering your product in English and in Danish you will have 2 sites. Create a Site in your primary language (this could be your Main Website). Create a second Site in the second language. NOTE! This needs to be a Site from Content >> Sites, since we only have one Main Website per account. You can still set this second Site to be open to the public if needed. Option 2: Create one site with both languages.  NOTE! This option will only work if the Sites are both set to be closed to the public. Create a Site. For each page of content, you’ll create one page in each language. So if you’re selling in English and Danish, for example, you’ll have 2 pages for each page of content. One of the pages will be in English and the other in Danish.  Set all the pages to be Dripped Create an automation to release access to the pages based on language. If you have content in English and Danish, you’ll have 2 automations: One will release the English pages either all at once or spaced out, depending on how you release your content. One will release the Danish pages in the same manner.  Create a Product for Each Language/Currency Create your Product as normal Duplicate the Product and change the Currency Connect Your Products to the Content You have two options based on how you created the content: If you went with Option 1 and created two different sites, then you’ll connect each product to the appropriate site - matching currency on the product with language. If you went with Option 2 and housed it all in one site. Then you’ll add a trigger on each product to start the automation that matches currency with language.   What If I Want to Sell Only One Product in a Single Currency and Give Access to the Language the Customer Chooses? You can do this. Here’s how: Create One Product and an Automation for Each Language Create an Automation for each language option. The automation will contain 1 action step which is to add a Tag to the contact. For simplicity, the tag should be the language of choice.  For example: If English is the preferred language, the automation will add a tag "English" to the contact Create your Product  Set up a Welcome Email as an Auto-Responder to ask which language they primarily speak.  Add a link or button for each language they can choose from. Hyperlink each language option to the Autostart link for the corresponding automation in that language from step 1.  Connect the Content You have two options here based on how you created your content to begin with: If you went with Option 1 and your content is housed in 2 different sites: You’ll add a step to each automation that gives access to the site that matches that automation’s language. If you went with Option 2 and your content is housed in the same site: You’ll add steps to each automation that drip out access to the pages on the site for that automation’s language.

Reserved Slugs on Sites
Simplero comes with some built-in pages that have special URLs. For example, yourdomain.com/blog is set aside for a blog page that we create for you. In this URL, the "slug” would be: blog To keep things running smoothly, each URL can only be used for one page. So, you won't be able to use these reserved URLs for any other pages on your site. Currently these are the reserved slugs we have so far: events (only when your site uses the New Community Experience) calendar history courses groups feed leaderboards join playlists blog products terms privacy-policy Let us know if you have any questions!

Why does Simplero remove my HTML code?
When you enter HTML code into a 2.0 page using the HTML element, we scrub your HTML code pretty hard.  NOTE! If you need help using the 2.0 builder, head to this guide. There are several reasons for this. Security. Allowing unlimited HTML brings a bunch of security risks, known as "cross-site scripting" attacks, or XSS for short. By restricting the HTML, we eliminate that. Content Spam. Spammers have long used links as a way to game Google. We prevent that from working. Because when you copy-paste content from other programs into the wysiwyg editor, it'll usually come with a bunch of markup that you don't want. MS Word is especially awful in this regard, but other software does it too. Fonts, colours, background colours, and other things that you don't want, in addition to just awful and bloated markup that introduces weird problems. By restricting HTML, we manage to remove most of the unwanted markup. You as an admin are allowed more freedom than your end customers. I hope this explains the reasoning.

Split Tests
NOTE! Split tests only work on Site pages created with our Legacy builder and landing pages created with our 2.0 builder. They will not work for Site 2.0 pages. Included in Simplero plans: Skyrocket Why Split Test? Split tests are a great way to optimize the performance of your landing pages and web pages.  You want your pages to convert viewers to subscribers or purchasers at the highest possible rate.  So you might split test your pages to evaluate which page section Layout, Headline text, or the combination of Colours and Media resources you use results in the best conversion rate.  How to Split Test in Simplero When creating a Split Test, you start by choosing which of your existing pages you want to run the test on.  This is called the Control page.  (Put your science hat on.  We're talking experiment with controls and hypothesis here...) Then, you create one or more copies of that Control page in order to test specific changes (like headline text, or image choice). Those new pages are called the Variants and they will be generated when you set up the Split Test. They are also referred to as 'Challengers'.  Once a Variant is created, you'll get access to the page editor to make the changes. You might want to rename the Variants to keep everything straight. You'll then tell Simplero what percentage of the page traffic to send to which page in the test. This is called the page weight. You send all traffic to the URL of the Control page, tell us what percentage of that traffic to send to the Control and each Variant and and we will do the rest for you in the backend. If your Control is already giving you high conversion rates, you might consider giving it a higher weight, minimising the risk of losing conversions while running the test. You can create Split Tests on web pages and on landing pages.  For the purposes of this guide, we'll use the web page example. It works exactly the same way for landing pages.  Create a Split Test Navigate to your Sites >> Choose the site > Pages or Marketing >> Landing pages & forms and hover over the title of the page you want to start a Split Test on: As soon as you click "Start Split Test" you'll be able to give the test a Name, add Variants (other versions of the page to test) and set the Control and Challengers weights: Editing the Control & Variants You can edit a Split Test while the test is on Setup and Active status. Make changes to the design of the Control and Variants via Edit the internal name of the Control and Variants hovering on their names to then click on  Do you want to make small changes to the Control on a new Variant? >> Duplicate Control You already have an existing page on your site that you'd like to test against this Control? >> + Add Existing Have you worked on the changes on the Variant and want to compare it against a third Variant with tiny little changes? >>  This icon is next to the trashcan on the right side of the variant you want to duplicate. Edit the weights dragging the indicator on the progress bar resource. Editing the Test URL When starting the Split Test, we randomly send traffic to the Control into the different Variants (Challengers) you create on the test.  The URL displayed for these pages can be either the Control's URL or a custom URL. Start the Split Test Before you start the Split Test, check these things: Control page and Variants designs ✔️ Weights to distribute the traffic on each of the Variants ✔️ Set up URL as the Control or set up a custom URL ✔️ If all the above tasks are completed now, then you are ready to start the test! You need some more time to finish up the checklist... Save changes and start later instead. Once you start the test, it will take you to the page with an overview of the test: You'll be able to access the Split Test editor via Site >> Pages or Marketing >> Landing Pages & Forms (click the label next to the page from the split test): Choosing a Winner & End of the Split Test You've had your test running for a while and collected enough conversion rate data, in other words, you know which one is the winner. Click on the active test (green label): Choose the winner by pressing the trophy icon next to the page and then press the blue Choose winner and end test button: From now on, all traffic to the URL will be redirected to the winner Variant. The winner will replace the page on your site completely (including the Page Editor). The Variants/Challengers will disappear. Completed Tests They will show on a grey label next to the page name: You'll now be able to start new split tests on this page if you wish to :) In a completed Split Test you'll find the test result data. If you would like to delete the split test now that it has been completed, you can do so on the delete option by pressing the three dots and selecting Delete in the top right corner:

Site Redirects
Redirects are a fun feature in Simplero that let you make a pretty or shortened link that lives on your member site domain and directs your followers to anywhere in internet land when they press that link. NOTE! We DO NOT redirect from an existing page or site to another existing page or site - we redirect from a made-up URL to an actual URL page. Let me show you how: Press Content on your Simplero Dashboard and choose Sites from the dropdown Select the Site  Select the three dots next to the Configure tab and choose Redirects from the dropdown: Click the  Add a redirect button in the upper right corner: The Redirect pop-up screen will appear with two boxes (NOTE: You are limited to 15 characters): Box 1: Path on your site - Write the path or extension that you want to appear at the end of your Simplero domain. For example: If my Simplero domain is demo.simplero.com and I type “hello” in this box, the link I’ll share with people is demo.simplero.com/hello NOTE! This URL cannot be a URL that exists already. We DO NOT redirect from an existing page or site to another existing page or site - we redirect from a made-up URL to an actual URL page. Box 2: Redirect to this URL - Paste the URL of the actual page you want them to go to. This could be a landing page you created in Simplero, a Zoom link, or maybe even an order form link. The options really are endless. Click Save and you're ready to use the URL.
