in this call, we walked through how simplero events work, including how to create events, set them up as single sessions or series, connect them to zoom, manage recordings, and understand participant access. we also covered what features are available on different subscription levels and how attendees experience events from their side.

questions asked during the call:

can events be part of a multi-week series?
- yes, you’ll want to set it up as a recurring event series
is there a way to convert a single event into a series?
- not at this time
are these features available on the basic subscription?
- all events features discussed are available on all plans
what does the participant url look like on the client side?
- participant url for the event is unique to each person.
- zoom links for the event location update for each participant to sync with their zoom registration
can butter.us integrate similarly to zoom?
- not at this time. feature request
after importing zoom recordings into simplero, is it safe to delete them from zoom?
- yes, you can
what do the “start now” and “send broadcast” buttons do?
- start now will start the zoom meeting as long as you are logged into the zoom account that the event is on
- send broadcast will allow you to create a broadcast for the participants.
if using a non-integrated zoom link, can simplero track attendance and email attendees afterward?
- not directly unless zoom were to have the information and able to provide that information to us
what happens if a paid member shares the zoom link with someone who isn’t a member?
- simplero does not have a direct way to prevent sharing but zoom does have a setting on the account profile to limit sharing

p.s. event registrants do not count as billable contacts if they don't meet at least one of the following four criteria:

subscribed to a list
purchased a product
have a tag
are active in an automation
