Tracking Pixels

Where Do I Add My Facebook Pixel?

This is useful if you're using Facebook Ads Manager to track your conversions.

Here is what you need to do:

First thing first:

  1. Set up your Facebook pixel (Follow the steps in the Facebook guide for Custom pixel)
  2. Once you've created your pixel, you're ready to put the Facebook pixel code on your website.

Now update your Simplero Sites:

For your website Header

  1. Just insert your Facebook custom conversion pixel into Colors and graphics (but only insert event codes on dynamic pages).
    • Select Settings from your Simplero Dashboard
    • Select the Colors and graphics tab
    • Scroll down to the Tracking code section
    • Copy your general custom conversion pixel (the one where you type which URL you're tracking in Facebook Ad manager),
    • Paste it into the first tracking box 'Custom tracking HTML code for all pages'. It will place your code in the Head section.

    • This will place a code on all your Simplero pages such as your Landingpage, Membership Sites, etc.

Please note that our auto-generated Thank you pages for signup to Lists and purchasing Products are dynamic. Each customer ends up with a unique URL, and Facebook's customized tracking pixels cannot stand alone when tracking dynamic pages.

Therefore, you must use Event codes and they must go into the body of Thank you page and not the Head section of a webpage.

  1.  To add your Event codes, follow the steps in the Facebook guide for Custom pixel
  2. Copy ONLY the event code from your Facebook Ad Manager and paste it on the relevant page of your site (e.g. Thank You, Products, Lists, etc). As seen in this image:

  3. Be sure not to modify the pixel code you've already placed in the header of your website

It's a great help to install the plugin in Google Chrome called Pixel Helper, so you can quickly see if you've installed the code correctly:
