Webinar Jam Landing Pages

Do you use WebinarJam, and do you also feel, that their landing pages are too impersonal, or do you just want to have full control over the landing page? No worries, you can create your own in Simplero, you just need to make a few changes to the code you get from WebinarJam.

  1. Create a Landing page in your Simplero
    • Select Marketing from your Simplero Dashboard
    • Select Landing pages tab
    • Click the blue + Create new landing page button in the upper right corner

      Create_new_landing_page_button

    • Select the type of landing page
      Select_landing_page_type

    • Choose your template

      Choose_landing_page_template

    • Once you've chosen your template, you will be directed to the SettingsContents, and Share screen
    • Make sure to change the text in the Basic settings and the Header to something sensible, regardless of whether you have chosen a form that shows those or not, it will still show in the browser and if shared on social media.
    • Select the Settings tab and change the Landing page Name

      Landing_page_Name

    • Launch the editor by clicking the blue Launch editor button in the upper right corner

      Webinar_Jam_landing_page_launch_editor

    • Once you've launched the editor, select the Settings tab
      Settings_tab_for_landing_page

    • In the Title field, change the header that will be shown in the browser
    • In the Search engines and social section, enter the Page title
    • Click the blue Save changes button
    • Click the Back to admin link in the upper left corner

      Back_to_admin_link

    • Select the Share tab and copy the URL

      URL_from_full_page_signup_form
    • Scroll down and click the blue Save changes button
  2. Then go create your webinar
    • In the Registration page, choose the template called Your own design on your own website
    • Click edit this template
    • Paste the URL for the landing page you've just created and Save.
  3. Finish setting up your webinar
    • Go to Your Links and copy the code from the Embed registration button in your own site field

  4. Paste the code into a text editor (not directly into your landing page!) and delete all the code related to the Webinar Jam 'register now' button. It will break the landing page if included in Simplero.  It looks something like this:

    <link href="//app.webinarjam.net/assets/css/register_button.css" rel="stylesheet"><div style="margin:auto;width:300px;"><div class="embedded-joinwebinar-button"><button type="button" class="btn btn-default css3button" title="regpopbox_123455_12345678"><span>Register now</span></button></div></div><script src="//cdnjs.cloudflare.com/ajax/libs/jquery/1.11.1/jquery.min.js" language="javascript" type="text/javascript"></script><script src="//app.webinarjam.net/assets/js/porthole.min.js" language="javascript" type="text/javascript"></script><script src="//app.webinarjam.net/register.box.js" language="javascript" type="text/javascript"></script><div id="frameContent" style="-webkit-overflow-scrolling: touch !important; overflow: auto;top: 0; left: 0; background:#fff;position: fixed; width: 100%; height: 100%; display:none; z-index:2147483647;"></div><img src="//app.webinarjam.net/tracker?action=registration&webicode=12345678&memberid=12345" style="visibility:hidden; height:0px; width:0px; border:none;">

  5. Copy the rest of the code
  6. Go to your landing page, and paste the code either in the body text or body text for the CTA.
  7. You have to use the source code <> function in the editor and paste the code in the popup window that appears

  8. Finish up designing your landing page
