Automatic Refund Requests for a Product

At the End of This Lesson

You’ll be able to let customers request and receive refunds automatically within a set time period, without manual approval.


Before You Start

  • You already have a product created

Step-by-Step Instructions

  1. Select Sales -> Products

  2. Select the product from your list

  3. Go to Settings -> Options

  4. Scroll down to the Advanced

  5. Turn on the Allow refunds within a certain period toggle

  6. Choose:

    • How many days after purchase can a customer request a refund

    • Whether or not they have to communicate with you to get the refund over that period


How does it look from the customer's end? 

If your customers want to request a refund for the purchase, they can:

  • Go to their Dashboard -> Order History
  • View the purchase


  • On the payment information section, they will see a button to Get a full refund while the refund period lasts. 


 

NOTE! On the user's end, they can view content and listen to any MP3 or MP4 files from the content screen in their account. However, if you have restricted downloads, it won't give them that option until after the refund period.
